I woke up to the sound of bustling activity outside the apartment, disoriented and slightly confused. Glancing to my side, I noticed Kuroo sleeping peacefully beside me. It took a moment for my sleep-addled brain to register the situation—I had somehow ended up on Kuroo's bed, having fallen asleep with him the night before. How had that happened? I couldn't recall.

Shaking off my drowsiness, I pushed aside the questions swirling in my mind, too tired to dwell on them at the moment. Carefully tiptoeing out of bed, I made my way to the living room, where I could hear the sounds of movement and activity outside. Peering out the window, I watched as people bustled about, carrying boxes and furniture, presumably moving into the neighboring apartment.

Feeling parched, I helped myself to a glass of ice-cold water from the kitchen before gathering my belongings strewn across the table. Glancing at the clock, I noted that it was already 9 in the morning—a lot later than I had intended to wake up.

With a sigh, I approached the door, intending to satisfy my curiosity about the new neighbors. As I cracked the door open, I caught sight of a familiar figure standing beside the adjacent apartment. He was tall, wearing sunglasses, and had distinctive gray wavy hair that gave him an artistic air.

Just as I was about to step outside, a voice from behind startled me. "Leaving without a kiss?" Kuroo's voice rang out, causing me to jump in surprise and stumble forward.

Tripping over my own feet, I nearly fell, but Kuroo's quick reflexes saved me from a potentially embarrassing fall. As he helped me regain my balance, I noticed the perplexed expression on the face of the man standing nearby.

"Hey," he greeted me, his voice laced with curiosity.

Before I could respond, Kuroo's demeanor shifted, his expression morphing into one of recognition and surprise. "Semi?" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with disbelief.

The man, now identified as Semi, removed his sunglasses, revealing his face in full. Recognition dawned on me as well—it was Kuroo's high school friend, Semi Eita.

"It's you, Kuroo," Semi acknowledged, approaching Kuroo with a friendly smile. The two men shared a handshake, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of intrigue at the unexpected reunion. It seemed that even in the midst of mundane daily routines, surprises were never far away.

Standing in the hallway of the 9th floor, Semi's question caught me off guard. "What are you doing here?" he inquired, his eyes flicking between Kuroo and me.

Kuroo responded casually, "I live here."

As Semi's gaze shifted towards me, recognition dawned on his face. "Yeah, you're Y/N, right?" he said, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"Uh, yeah, it's me," I replied, offering a slightly awkward smile in return.

I gestured towards my apartment, located between Kuroo's and Semi's. "I also live here, next door."

"What a coincidence," Semi remarked, his tone filled with amusement, while Kuroo watched our exchange with interest.

Without missing a beat, Semi extended an invitation. "Why don't you guys come over to my place?" he suggested.

Kuroo accepted the offer without hesitation, and I followed suit, feeling a mixture of curiosity and apprehension about the encounter.

As we settled into Semi's apartment, I learned that he was a singer, his apartment adorned with musical instruments—a testament to his passion for music.

"So, Kuroo, do you have a job?" Semi inquired, sparking a conversation.

Kuroo chuckled. "Yeah, I'm a high school teacher."
