Y/N P.O.V

Countless couples around me sway back and forth to the romantic slow song as I stand in the middle of it all, lost in my own world.

Lost in his eyes.

Ugh, why did he have to be so beautiful?

I get butterflies just seeing him in his suit and tie, black hair slicked back, plump lips looking a bit too kissable, and his orbs shining as bright as the moon.

We stand under the colorful lights staring at one another. There's a good few meters between us, and we're a complete contrast to the others, who have no gap between them, their bodies pressed against each other as they dance.

I pay no attention to my surrounding thought. All I see is him.

He finally makes a move, walking towards me. My heart pumps faster and when he finally reaches me I'm afraid he will hear it.

"You look absolutely stunning" he says, making me blush a deep shade of pink.

"I-" I try to respond, but simply can't.

He chuckles seeing that I'm too stunned to speak, and then says:

"Can I have this dance?"

All I can do is nod, and he takes my hand, twirling me around just to pull me close, sealing any existing space between us, making me one with him.

A bright laugh leaves my lips at his action, feeling happier than ever just being with him.

This brings a smile to his face, and we start swaying back and forth, joining the others.

His large hand on my back makes me tingle, and I get a feeling that I can't shake.

"You know-" I start, looking up at him.

"I never thought that I would end up like this"

"What do you mean?" he asks softly.

"I mean, dancing with you. The one and only, Jung Wooyoung. Especially at a freaking prom" I explain with a giggle, making him smile even wider.

"The one and only? You really think highly of me huh-" he says mockingly, making me slightly shy.

"Oh, shut up" I respond, weakly smacking his chest while rolling my eyes, making him laugh.

Damn, that laugh. I suddenly get the feeling that I would do anything just to hear him laugh, just to see him smile.

I hug him as we continue swaying to the song, making me want to never let go.

I breathe in his scent, the scent that never fails to calm me down. I breathe out, feeling more relaxed than ever before.

Eventually, the song comes to an end, something I definitely was not ready for.

An obnoxious and extremely hyper party song starts playing and everyone jumps around to the beat.

Ugh, why- I hate this type of music, so annoying.

We slowly pull away and he immediately notices how over it I look.

He smiles that soft smile and says:

"Wanna get out of here?"

I grin. He knows me so well.

Well, "getting out of here" didn't exactly mean that we were going to leave our high school, also known as the location of the prom. Actually, the furthest we could get was to some random classroom in a random hallway.
