After their failed mission the Young Justice are back in Mount Justice, as a few Justice League members are annoyed by their failed mission
"One Guy. One Guy!" Batman yelled at them
"But he was..." Robin was cut off
"Not a word. Eight of you against one Guy! It's like you wanted to get humiliated!" Batman yelled
"Batman, they are just kids" Superman said
"But we train them and help them with problems. How can one guy defeat them?" Black Canary said to Superman
"I don't know but, they still need time to train" Superman answered
"How much? One whole year?"Black Canary asked, showing signs of annoyance
"We- We didn't have our teamwork running.." Spider-man said looking down
"I knew you were not..." Batman was quickly cut off by Artemis
"He risked his life to save mine" Artemis said, protecting Spider-man
"And why should he?" Batman asked, believing that Artemis is lying
"I don't want to lose a friend" Spider-man said, while still looking down "I lost my uncle because i didn't react. I don't want that to happen again" Spider-man added
Most of them had wide eyes after he said that
Zatanna was the only one who went to comfort him by holding his hand
Spider-man was suprised but, he didn't mind it and also held her hand "Thank you" he said
"Look at the couple" Kid Flash said, getting hit in the side by Artemises Elbow
"Let them be" Artemis said, liking how her friends have a bond, which looks like it might turn into more
Suddenly Batman, Superman and Black Canary got a recieved a message
"You two got a mission in New York" Batman said
"What about us?" Robin said
"After that beating you took? Hit the showers" Batman said
"We can still fi.." Robin was cut off
"Stretch your arms up" Batman said, knowing Robin wasn't able to do that
"Fine but, next time those two stay here" Robin said, not wating to argue about the state most off them are in
"So New York. Wanna show me around?" Zatanna asked Spider-man, with a flirtious sound
"Yeah. Lets take the Zeta tubes and.." Spider-man remembered, that he would have to hold Zatanna while swinging "I'll have to hold you, while i'm seinging around" He added, seemingly blushing underneath his mask
"Pete, wanna take that mask off?" Zatanna said, while smiling
"Not really Zee" Spider-man said
They both went to the Zeta Tubes, teleporting to New York
"20 bucks they'll kiss in New York" Robin bet
"I bet 20 bucks they won't" Kid Flash said
"Guy are you actually betting?" Artemis asked "Without me? 40 bucks they'll kiss after the mission" Artemis also added
"That's not really nice betting on your friends" Miss Martian said, getting an aproved nod from Superboy
Back with Spider-man and Zatanna
"Still looks pretty bad" Spider-man said
"What do you mean?" Zatanna asked
"Just wait" Spider-man said
