Part 72 - Doing Homework witn the Grandparents

It has been a few days since you met, saxton, miss.pauling's boss, helen and olivia and you and olivia had gained a really good friendship, you only play with olivia on weekends as during the week, she with her dad travel to her school so by the time she's back home, it's dark outside so they won't be able to play during th week, you didn't mind though as you have (y/b/n), (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) to play with, you also have your school friends and your crush henry when you are at school so you don't miss olivia that much but you sometimes miss her when you are at home when everyone is busy.
it was a nice afternoon and you with (y/b/n) have just finished school for the day, you just got home after sniper picked you and (y/b/n) up and you head to the kitchen while (y/b/n) heads to his room, you get to the kitchen after saying hi to (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) and then you sit at the kitchen table looking though your bag, you then pull out a mini stack of 6 A4 papers and you sigh
"homework time, i guess" you says annoyed as you look at the stack of paper
you grab the first paper and it was a 'what's the word?' paper where you have to fil in the first 2 letter of the word to find out what the word is, this paper has 'pl or pr' and 'sc or sk' and you were trying to figure out the words while popping your pencil on your cheek, you think and then write the word that was correct but then you get stick on one, suddenly the kitchen doors open which you glance at and you see it was soldier who smiles when he sees you
"hello cupcake!" soldier says happily and you give him a smile
"hi grandad!" toy says more in a mumble as you were focusing on the homework
you feel soldier rub you hair affectionly which you didn't mind and then soldier grabs 2 mugs from the cabinet and starts the coffee machine
"what you doing?" soldier asks you as he sits down to your right after taking his helmet off curious on what you are doing while he waits for the coffee machine
"i'm doing my homework" you reply simply as you look at the one you are still stuck on then looks up at soldier
"that's great, what is your homework about?" soldier says happily and then he slides your homework over to him to look at him
"well, i have to finish the word with those words above like example, that is princess so i have to put 'pr' there to finish it" you explain happily as you use your pencil to point to the word
"oh, i see...but aren't you sure it isn't plincess?" soldier says happily then he teases making you giggle
"no, grandad, that sounds silly!" you says happily and you giggle again not seeing that soldier was smiling at you
soldier then hears the coffee machine go off and he goes over to pour 2 coffees out which was one for him and another one for engineer as the mug had a picture of a screwdriver and spanner on it, he then grabs the 2 mugs and he sits back where he was before and puts engineer's mug opposite him to the left side of where you were sitting, he takes a sip of his coffee then he sees you look at your homework confused
"what's wrong?" soldier asks as he puts his mug down on the table
"i'm stuck on this one, i don't know if it's prume or plume" you says confused as you show soldier the one you are stuck on
"hmm...i think it's plume but i'm not sure" soldier says as he looks at it confused then he looks at you hoping he got the right answer
"...i think so too!" you says happily and you right 'pl' next to ume "right, now onto the next one" you adds after you see you were done with that paper and put it to the side "oh no" you say annoyed as you see what the paper was
"what?" soldier says confused as he wasn't paying attention
"it's math, i don't like math" you says annoyed and you lightly put your head on the table
suddenly the doors open and it was engineer smiling happily, you look up at him and smile seeing him
"howdy, howdy!" engineer says happily and he then sees his coffee mug on the table "thanks for the coffee, honey" he says happily looking at soldier who smiles at him "so, what's going on here?" he asks as he sits down opposite soldier
"i'm doing my homework but i have to do math!" you says annoyed as you glance over to engineer looking annoyed
"aww, math isn't that hard, me and soldier can help you if you want" engineer says happily and he then takes a sip of his coffee
"thank you, the math is adding numbers" you says happily to have help and then you point to the paper with your pencil
"those are easy, you can use my fingers to help you count" engineer says happily and he holds up his right hand which didn't have his glove on it as he took it off making you smile
you then do your math homework using both engineer and soldier's fingers to help you count which made them smile as they thought it was cute as they drank their coffee, soon you were done with the math with engineer checking to see if they were right which they were and you were on to the next homework which was about patterns
"oh, this one's easy, just need to finish the pattern" you says happily and you go onto the paper
"how much homework do you have?" engineer asks as he looks at the litter pike if paper in front of him
"only 6, one from each lesson, it's a new rule that our new principle added in that every monday, we get homework but then we don't get anymore homework for the rest of the week then we have to hand the homework in on fridays and if you didn't do it by friday, you get break detention" you explain looking annoyed and both engineer and soldier look at each other confused
"that sounds very odd but okay" soldier says as he puts his head on his fisted hand
"it is but it's school rules, i guess" you reply more to yourself then to the other 2 and you get back to work on the pattern
you were soon done with the 3rd sheet of homework and you go onto your 4th sheet which was a match the animal to the word, after you did that, you sigh as you only have 2 papers left so you take both of them to look at them, one of them was which number was the smallest and the other was a word search on animals, you do the number one first and as you do it, you had engineer low key help you by pointing to the lowest number which made you smile when he did it, after you were done with that, you do the word search and you had soldier low key help you with that as he points to the word that he spots as he looks at the paper while sipping his coffee, you were soon done with that and now you done with your homework, you scribble your name at the top of each paper then when your name was on the last paper which was on the first paper you did, you drop your pencil happily and smile
"i did it!" you says happily cheering with your hands in the air and both soldier and engineer smile at you as you plop your head on the table
"good job, darling" engineer says happily as he pays you on the back
"yeah, great job, cupcake" soldier says also happily as he runs your hair affectionally
"thanks!" you says happily and you giggle a little
you then put the homework in your bag as well as your pencil in the pencil case and after you did that, you talked to engineer and soldier about your day at school while they lied about their day saying they were doing nothing when in fact, they were busy fighting robots in a place called coal town, after a little chat, you decide to leave soldier and engineer alone so you can play with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) before dinner, you have a good time with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) and when it was dinner, it was pyro cooking and it was one of the best meal you had in a while, you then go up to bed and after playing with some of your toys, you soon grew tired and you fall asleep on your bed happy with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) by your side.
