Part 63 - Valentine's Day

One morning, you wake up and go downstairs with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) by your side, when you get to the kitchen, you would usually see either sniper and medic up first but this time it was soldier and he looked worried and zoned out which is unlike him
"morning grandpa!" you says happily as you let (y/d/n) outside
your voice seems to snap soldier out of his trance and he looks at you before giving a smile
"oh...hello cupcake..." soldier says smiling but he still looked worried
"what's wrong, grandpa" you says getting concerned "you look worried" you add then you start putting the food down for (y/d/n) and (y/c/n)
"um...well...you see, cupcake" soldier says trying to think on how to say it "it's valentine's day today and...i-" he says big then you cut him off after putting the food bowls down for (y/d/n) who just came back inside and (y/c/n)
"*gasp* do you like someone?!" you says surprised and start to giggle "who is it?" you ask wanting to know
"it's umm..." soldier says getting a blush "engie..." he whispers while looking down
"grandma?" you says as you kinda heard what he said "aww! don't worry grandpa, i think grandma likes you too" you say to mainly make soldier happy again
"you...really think so?" soldier says as he looks at you with a little smile
"yes, i know for sure he will love whatever you tell him" you says happily and this makes soldier smile
"...thanks cupcake" soldier says after thinking about it then he kisses you on the head
you giggle then as soldier gets up, sniper and medic come into the room
"hi sweetheart" sniper says as he sees you
"morning liebste" medic says after sniper with a smile on his face
you watch soldier leave then you go over to sniper and medic to get a hug from sniper
"happy valentine's day, sweetheart" sniper says happily
"happy valentine's day mom and dad" you says as sniper passes you to medic so he can give you a hug
"happy valentine's day" medic says after the hug and he puts you down after kissing you on the forehead
"so what was soldier doing in here? he not usually up this early" sniper says as he looks at the door soldier left then back to you
"he was in a pickle about his valentines but i made sure that everything is alright" you says proudly and both sniper and medic look at each other then smile
"and who is soldiers valentine?" medic says wanting to know
"i can't tell you" you says sounding stubborn as you look away with your arms crossed "cause i think you already know who it is" you add and you had a bit of a smug face
sniper and medic look at each other again then sniper looks at you with a shrug
"that's true" sniper says as he goes to sit down at the table "but tell us this yes or no question, is soldier's valentine engineer?" he adds also looking smug
"umm...yes?" you says wanting to see how sniper and medic react
"good, that's all we needed to know" medic says as he goes over to the kitchen counter "now let's have breakfast" he says and you smile as you go over to medic
meanwhile in engineer's workshop and engie was fixing the tv remote to the living room tv as heavy chucked it at the wall as scout and spy were fighting over it last night, then there was a knock at the door
"come in!" engie says loudly and soldier comes in
soldier then takes his helmet off nervously and he goes to sit by engineer
"hello soldier!" engineer says happy to see the army man "what can i do for you?" he asks happily
"umm...well...uhh" soldier says getting a blush "do...do you know what day it is today" he asks making sure engie knew
"why, today is...uhh..." engineer says then he realised he didn't remember what day it was as he had forgotten to look at the calendar this morning "what day is it?" he whispers to soldier to see if he knew
soldier was quiet for a few seconds as he needed to figure out to do next but then he gained confident and he smiles
"well, let me show you what day it is" soldier says calmly with his smile
he then leaned in to engineer and he peaks him on the lips, he then backs away a little and he grins at engie as he watches the builder gains a blush and he covers his mouth
"happy valentine's day" soldier says in a whisper with his eyes half lidded and a smirk on his mouth
engineer look at soldier first with shocked eyes but then he calms down and he pulls his hands away revealing a smile and a blush
"happy valentine's day" engie says then pulls soldier in for a kiss
back with you and you are in your room telling (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) about valentine's day
"so that's what valentine's day is" you says repeating what school had told you about the holiday
'that's nice' (y/c/n) says not really that interested
'oh! does that mean today i will get all the cuddles and kisses!' (y/d/n) wagging (his/her) tail excitedly
"both you and (y/c/n) will get many cuddles and kisses everyday but today you will get extra" you say then you give (y/d/n) kisses on the forehead
you then go over to (y/c/n) and give (him/her) lots of kisses on the forehead, both (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) loved the attention and (y/c/n) was purring and pummeling (his/her) bed while (y/d/n) was wagging (his/her) tail and falling asleep on you.
meanwhile scout was in his room wondering how miss pauling was doing, last week him and miss pauling went to medic to have a ultrasound to check on the twin and medic said that the twins are due in early april, this made both scout and miss pauling nervous and excited as they were going to be parents for the first time ever, he sighs happily coming out of his daydream then he leaves his room to find something to do.
in sniper and medic's room and the pair were in bed with no shirts on, they look happy but also tired
"that was amazing"medic says sounding tired
"it was darlin', we should do it again sometime" sniper replies and he puts his hand on medic's cheek
medic leans into snipers hand and sniper smiles on how cute medic looked
sniper then put his other hand on medic's other cheek and pulls medic into a kiss, the kiss was long but full of love and as they broke there was a knock on the door
"hey umm...lunch is ready" the voice of scout says then he walks off
"let's go get lunch, i'm hungry" medic says and on queue his stomach growls loudly causing him to blush
sniper chuckles then they get up to get lunch.
a few hours later it was dinner time and today it was fish fingers, chicken nuggets and chips made by you, everyone like it and then it was time for bed, you get in your bed after putting in your night outfit then before dropping off to sleep you feel (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) near you and it made you smile before falling asleep having happy dreams.
