Part 18 - The Rescue

You wake up all groggy and lost to where you are
"oh i see that your awake child" a voice says
"where am i" you say
"nowhere of interest my dear, now... we want something from you" the boss said going over to you
"what?" you ask
"we know about your ability to befriend animals and we want it for evil" the boss says and attaches a headgear to you
"no, get this of me" you say "mom! dad! help!"
"those men you call 'family' won't help you" the boss said "say goodbye to them" and the boss pulled a lever, a high pitch noise came out of the headgear and it hurtled you ears but then your eyes turn a blackie red colour
Meanwhile the mercs were following (y/d/n) since (he/she) has your sent and (he/she) was following it
"where is (he/she) taking us?" scout asks
"i don't know but as long as (y/d/n) has (y/n)'s sent (he/she) should take us to where (y/n) been located" engie explains
back with you, the boss is laughing evily while you are hypnotised
"it worked now let's try it out" the boss says and he pushes a button, a giant door opens and a dragon comes out, it roared and it notice you, it looked into your eyes and it eyes turned turned the same colour as yours
"great it under her command, now tell the dragon to attack the mercs" the boss said
you point your finger and the dragon was off into the sky, the mercs were near to where you were when they saw a dragon
"what the hell?! a dragon?! i thought they lived in fairy tales" scout says
"well...now they don't" spy says
the dragon spots the mercs and attacks them, the mercs raise their weapons and attack the dragon, (y/d/n) runs away and sniper notice this and follows (y/d/n), medic sees sniper run off with (y/d/n) and also follows leaving the others to sort out the dragon, (y/d/n), sniper and medic find their way inside the boss's building and the boss notices on his camera
"it looks like (y/n)'s friends have made their way into the building but no worries, i have this mage whistle and all these dog" the bos says and load of dogs came out, there was dogs big and small standing in front of you, the boss blows his whistle and the dog and all the dog turn hostile
"get them" the boss shouts pointing at the screen with sniper, medic and (y/d/n) on it, the dog leave the room
meanwhile sniper and medic are still going down the hall when all the dogs appear, sniper and medic panic and were about to run away when all the dogs stop, they look why they stopped and it was (y/d/n) who stopped it
(y/d/n) barks and bark at the dog like (he/she) was telling a speech to them, meanwhile in your hypnotise stat, you can hear (y/d/n) barking but in your mind, you can hear (him/her) talk, (he/she) is talking to the dogs about covering their ears to the whistle and you are (his/her) very special owner that take care of (him/her) everyday, this made you cry to hear that (y/d/n) cares much about you them you do to (him/her) and this helps you break out of the trance from the headgear
"what?! what happened to the headgear" the person says next to you, the headgear breaks to the floor and you break out of your hypnotises stats
"(y/d/n)!!" you shout and bolt off, the boss tries to stop you but you were to quick for him and he falls over, you head to where the dogs, (y/d/n), sniper and medic were and stop
"hey dogs" you shout and the dogs turn around, the dogs then fall out of their trance and one by one, they lick you in the face then run off somewhere (i'm guessing back home), when the last dog give you a thank you lick and runs off, sniper and medic run to you
"oh liebste, we were so worried about you" medic says giving you a hug
"i'm ok mom" you say returning the hug to medic
"you worried me so much (y/n) and i missed you too" (y/d/n) says
you look at (y/d/n) in surprise that (he/she) talked
"you can talk?!" you say
"yes but only you can hear me, that headgear helped you unlock a true power that inside of you" (y/d/n) says
you pick up (y/d/n) and hug (him/her)
"it was also you that helped me unlock this power, your talk with the other dogs made me hear your voice and it made me cry, i love you (y/d/n)" you say
sniper and medic look confused but then smiled when you gave (y/d/n) a hug
"oh look a reunion, how...delightful" the boss says coming around the corner with the person
"who are you and why did you take her" sniper says pointing his SMG at the boss and medic picking you up
"we needed her for animal related things but now she's broke the thing we needed to control the animals, we need to make another headgear" the boss says
"oh no you don't" sniper says and fires his smg killing the boss and the person with multiple shots, medic covers your eyes so you don't see
"come on lets go" sniper says and they run off
as they were running the person who is almost dead grabs a gun from his pocket and fire it before dying, the bullet hits (y/d/n) in the leg causing (him/her) to yelp, sniper scoops up (y/d/n) and all 4 of you head out the building and go back to the mercs, the mercs were still battling the dragon who is still in the trance when all of you go over to them
"i know how to brake the dragons trance" you say and medic puts you down
you go in front of the dragon and the dragon lands in front of you, you put your hand out and the dragon looks at you, the dragon then brakes out of its trance and put its nose on your hand, you rub the dragon on the nose and then the dragon flies off
"how did she do that?" scout asks
"she's an animal tamer" sniper says
you then run back to the others
"the dragon says that she's going home but she said she going to visit me when she can" you say
"when can you understand animals?" sniper asks
"since a few hour ago" you said laughing
sniper hands (y/d/n) to medic so he can look at (y/d/n) wound and sniper picks you up
"come on now sweetheart, lets go home and put you to bed, you look tired" sniper says
and everyone headed back to base and went to bed since it was morning when they got back and everyone was really tired, medic healed (y/d/n) with the medigun before he went to bed so (y/d/n) doesn't feel anymore pain and everyone did they own thing but you didn't wake up the whole day which made everyone worry about you and you didn't wake up till the day after.
