Part 37 - Blanket

You wake up the next morning surprisely back in your bed, you were sure you were on the camper van roof with sniper but you shrugs it off and went about your day (sniper brought you in when he woke up), after breakfast you head to your room and when you get there you decide to look around your room with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) being lazy, as you were looking around you find something you though you lost for a long time and it was your favourite blanket, the blanket was white blanket with the alaphabet on it with cute pictures of animals on it, you hugged it tightly then pyro enters, he sees you hugging your blanket and he takes it away from you
"hey! give that back pyro" you say and try and reach for it
pyro hold it in the higher position then runs off with it, you go after him then as pyro gets to the living room you bump into scout
"hey there tuts, what's up" scout says
"pyro has taken something from me and i need it back" you say
"did he now, well ill show him" scout says "where is he"
you point to the living room and scout enters with you behind
"pyro, give back from what you took from (y/n)" scout says looking angry
pyro looks at scout then at you and then he give it back
"why did you take it?" you ask after pyro give it back
pyro mumbles something
"he said he though you were hugging a table cloth" scout says for pyro
"it's not a table cloth" you say shaking your head feeling offended "it's my blanket"
"you have a blanket?" scout asks
"yeah look" you say and show scout your blanket
"that's...nice" scout says sound worried and sad and then he bolts off
you and pyro were really confused and you go after scout
"scout!" you shout "scout?"
you find scout in his room and he had a sad look on his face
"what's wrong scout?" walking over to scout
"i miss my blanket" scout says sadly
"you have one too" you says sitting on the bed
"yeah, it's at home with me ma" scout says "i wanted to bring it with me but then the others will call me baby"
"...well i won't let them" you say
"really?!" scout says
"yeah i'll show them" you says and put your fists up
"thanks tuts" scout says and rubs your head "your so brave"
"i know" you say "well bye" and you jump down and leave the room
"bye tuts" scout replies as you leave
as you were walking down the hallway you hugged your blanket when you bump into soldier
"oh! hi granddad" you says as you stand back a little
"hello cupcake, what's that?" soldier replies looking at you then seeing your blanket
"it's my blanket, i found it in my draw and i had it ever since i was a baby" you explain
"oh...i...follow me" soldier says and takes your hand
you were really confused but followed soldier anyway and he takes you to his bedroom, he shuts the door and he goes over to his bed and pulls out a scruffy looking blanket
"this is my blanket, his name is private comfy" soldier says showing you his blanket
"oooo, it's a bit dirty" you say
"well...i'm to scared to put it in the wash" soldier says "i love it to much to be separated by it"
"don't worry, you can borrow mine" you say going over to soldier and then you gave him a hug
"really cupcake" soldier replies after the hug
"yeah, i don't mind" you say smiling
"thanks cupcake" soldier replies and kisses you on the head
"just tell me when you want it ok" you says as soldier puts you down
"ok cupcake" soldier replies and opens the door
"well bye" you say and walk off
"bye cupcake" soldier says and goes back to his blanket to give it a cuddle
you then walk into the living room where it was empty and you sit down on the sofa to watch tv, then engie come in
"hello darlin'." engie says "pyro tells me you have something"
"yeah i found my blanket" you say and show engie your blanket
"that's nice darlin' to be honest, i have a blanket too" engie tells you and he pulls out a blanket from his overall pocket "see?"
"wow that's nice" you says feeling the blanket "quite soft too"
"thanks darlin' but the problem is that i'm to scared to be apart from it, its like my lucky charm"
"don't worry, it's not bad to have a blanket with you, i just talk to scout and soldier and they have blankets too" you say "so you'll not the only one"
"really?! i ain't the only one" engie says
"nope" you says
"thanks for telling me this darlin'." engie says and give you a kiss on the head "well bye" and leave
you smile then carry on watching cartoon on tv, after you watch tv you head to your room to check on (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) and after you did that you headed to the kitchen to get some food with your blanket still on hand, you get to the kitchen to see sniper making a coffee and medic waiting for the coffee
"oh hello liebste" medic says seeing you "what you got there?"
"it's my blanket, i had it ever since i was a baby but then i lost and i though i would never see it again but then i found it this morning" you says sitting down and telling the story
"that's nice sweetheart" sniper says as the coffee finished "i have a blanket" and gives medic a coffee cup full of coffee
"me too" medic says "it's in my room
"wow everyone has a blanket" you says surprised
"really?! we didn't know" sniper says
"yeah scout has one at home, granddad has one in his room and grandma keeps his with him" you says then you get up and look for food and grab a chocolate mousse yorgurt from the fridge
"hmm this is interesting" medic says
"i though it was too" you says eating your mousse
you, sniper and medic talk for a while till you finished your mousse and then you leave, you were going to head to your room to put your blanket on your bed till you bumped in to spy
"hello uncle spy" you says "what you doing?"
"oh hi lapin, i was just going to my room" spy says "what you got there?"
"it's my blanket" you says and explain the story
"oh that's nice, i also have a blanket" spy says
"the only one that i don't know that have a blanket is uncle demo and uncle heavy" you say
"let me guess, scout, soldier, engie, sniper and medic have blankets too" spy says
"yes how did you know" you say surprised
"i know everything" spy says (the truth is that spy followed you all day being invisible and it started when pyro took your blanket)
"ok mister, do you know what my favourite food is" you says seeing if spy did know everything
"sure thing lapin ,it's (your favourite food)" spy says all smug
you were shock "wow uncle spy, your very smart" you say
"i know it's a secret talent" spy says still smug cleaning his nails
"anyway why do you have a blanket?" you say "aren't you too old for one?"
"nobody to old to have a blanket or teddy bear" spy say picking you up
"i see so i could be 88 and i could still have my blanket" you says
"you could say that yes" spy says
you then imagined being 88 and having your blanket with you cuddling it
"well got to go lapin" spy says giving you a kiss on the forehead before putting you down "see you at dinner"
"ok bye uncle spy" you says and spy leaves
you head back to your room, put your blanket on your bed and spend time colouring in, playing with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) and playing pretend before it was dinner time, after dinner you head to bed and hug your blanket tightly before falling asleep
(A/N - This was written for my and my yorkie dog squibbs' blankets 😋 we love them so much and can't go to sleep without them 😊)
