Chapter 1

**Louis' POV** (It is if I don't say otherwise)

I slammed my locker shut and turned my head slightly to the left. I rolled my eyes at the sight of Harry's hands on either side of a blonde girl's head. His body was pressed against hers so she was practically glued to the locker, and a wide smile was playing on his lips. I had been good at ignoring my feelings for Harry, but I couldn't help but sigh every time I saw him with a girl.

I turned around and walked to my English class. Would Harry ever have enough time to notice me?

The answer to that question was probably not. He could have any girl at school because everyone here loved him, including some of the guys. Not only that, but he was also captain of the school's football team. He was the best player among them, even though he was the goalkeeper.

But, even if he could have all the girls, he wasn't with a different one every night... Okay, maybe more than what most of the other guys were, but it was like he "dated" a girl for about a month, then he realized she wasn't the one he was looking for and moved on to the next one.

It was just that Harry wasn't gay or bi. He was as straight as a ruler, so I could never have him. However, I couldn't help but wonder what Harry would think of me if he only knew who I was. There was another problem, though. I was an outcast. I hung out with the school's "nerds" and was kind of one myself. That was another reason why Harry would never like me since he was the school's most popular guy.

But none of those things changed the fact I was in love with him. I had been for almost three years, ever since we were fifteen, and his hair had begun to curl. I was secretly at all of his training practices with the football team.

I wouldn't consider myself a stalker. I was just kind of... obsessed. I had seen him develop from a "good" player to a "great" player throughout those years, and somehow, I was proud of him. It wasn't weird... was it?

However, Harry had had many girlfriends over these three years, but I still held on to him. Once I had fallen for him, there was no turning back. I was stuck and would probably be so forever. I had learned to ignore my feelings in some situations, though, as I mentioned before. It wasn't easy, but after three years of practice, I was kind of good at it.

I only had two lessons with Harry, and one of them was P.E. I got to see his defined abs, his torso, his chest, and his four nipples. The second one was Maths. I adored the concentrated look he would always wear when he struggled with a math problem, and I absolutely loved the crease between his eyebrows, which he wore outside of Maths too.

I plopped down in my chair in the classroom, turning my attention to Mrs. Smith who was writing something on the whiteboard. Just when the bell rang, someone sat down in the chair next to mine. I turned my head only to see it was my best friend, Niall.

"Oh, hi Niall. How come you're late? You're usually never late."

He placed his books down on the desk. "I missed the school bus, so I had to run here," he panted with his Irish accent.

I laughed and turned my attention to Mrs. Smith again.

-----

After the English lesson, I went to my locker to get rid of my books. I knew very well that the next period was Maths, and I couldn't wait to see Harry's beautiful face again. I looked at where his locker was and saw him once again standing there with the same blonde girl, only this time, they were snogging their faces off each other. I gulped at the sight, almost dropping the pen I was holding, and turned back to face my locker while squeezing my eyes shut.
