"I'm in deep shit, Lil," Phoebe told her friend.

"I got that from your messages," Lily responded. They finally both had some free time in their schedules, so they were hanging out at Lily's house. "What's going on?"

"It's bad."

"How bad?"

Phoebe rushed and got her secret out as fast as possible, "As bad as me having a crush on one of my professors."

It took Lily a second to process the information. "Oh, Phebes."

"I know," she said dramatically. "I mean, I'm obviously not going to do anything about it, but it's stressing me out."

"Yeah, that's understandable."

"Lily, this is a problem!"

"If you don't plan to act on it, then why does it have to be a big deal? Just ignore it."

"Easier said than done," she mumbled before speaking normally, "Every time I need help or have a question, I get so nervous and shaky, and I start fumbling like an idiot."

"It can't be that bad."

Phoebe stared blankly at her friend. "It's that bad."

"Maybe you should go out and get laid."

"Oh my god."

"No, no, listen. It'll take your mind off things. It might relieve some stress. C'mon, there's parties every week. I think we should go. I'll be your wingwoman." Lily winked.

Phoebe groaned but considered it. "Fine. It won't solve the problem, but maybe it'll help a little temporarily."

"That's the spirit!" Lily said excitedly before she burst out singing "Temporary Fix" by One Direction.

Phoebe laughed but joined in.

Once they finished singing and dancing around Phoebe's room, they laughed and fell onto the bed.

Okay, Phoebe thought to herself, maybe things will be okay.
