A long time ago well actually it was a few years ago there was a girl named Emerald who dated a boy named Ash when they were in sixth grade but things ended because Ash realized that Emerald was a control freak with him and he broke up with her and then by the end of middle school she dated Hype but they also broke up about a couple months before the start of the story because he realized that she was just using him to be popular and now she was upset that her ex boyfriends were able to move on especially when she was just getting friendly with Ash before he fell in love with Pearl

Emerald: why do those two have to move on *kicks a can*

Eric: so you have a problem 

Emerald: I'm just mad that my exes are with new people now not that I want them back but it feels like if I can't be be happy with them then no one should 

Eric: I may have a solution to your problem 

Then Eric gives Emerald a bottle with a skull marking 

Emerald: what's this 

Eric: something to take care of your problems along with mine especially when the only cure is the UnderMoon Lily 

Emerald: but that flower is myth people say about Mako Island 

Eric: and when the sun rises whoever takes the poison will die 

Then the next evening Emerald saw Hype and Ash going on a double date with Holly and Pearl respectively and she waited for them to walk away and then she slipped the poison in Holly and Pearl's drinks and then they came back and when Holly and Pearl went and took a sip of their drinks they immediately fell to the ground 

Hype: Holly Pearly what happened 😨

Holly: 😣

Pearl: 😣

Then they went to Branch's house 

Jade Dory: they were poisoned 

Everyone: poisoned 😱😱😱😱😱

Ash: why would anyone want to poison them 

Hype: I mean I know my parents are renowned marine biologists but I doubt their work rivals would sink this low 

Jade Dory: but we need to get the UnderMoon Lily to cure them before the sun rises 

Ash: but those flowers are a myth 

Blossom: no they are not 

Ash: and how would you know that 

Blossom: I will explain later 

Then she grabs Ash and Hype and she teleports them to the part of the island where the UnderMoon Lilies grow 

Ash: what just happened 😧

Blossom: I just teleported us to where the lilies grow 

Then they grab several of them 

Ash: this feels surprisingly easy 

Then Eric showed up 

Eric: I'm not letting you get those flowers 

And then Ash and Hype fought Eric until Blossom was able to use some water in the pond near her and turned it into a ice ball and threw it at Eric knocking him unconscious and the three teleported back home 

Ash: since when were you able to do that 😧

Blossom: always because I'm a mermaid 

Ash: *passes out from shock*

Then Hype gave Jade Dory the lilies and she was able to make them a herbal tea and the next morning the girls were all better 

Holly: *waking up* Hype

Hype: Holly 😄 *kisses her* 

Pearl: what happened last night 

Ash: someone tried to poison you but we were able to save you with flowers I thought was a myth 

Pearl: what 🤨

Ash: don't worry I'm just as confused as you are 

Blossom: oh there's a lot you should know 

Ash: wait until Frost hears this

Branch: no you can't tell anyone about this no one can know about the existence of mermaids 

Pearl: wait mermaids are real 🤩 

And then they explain to them everything they needed to know about mermaids and who else knew this as well with Pearl being happy that her friend Rose knew as well
