Author's POV

They all sat on the carpet in a semi-circle. Akshita sat on the right, (nearest to the house) Anuraag sat in front of Akshita on the left side, his back facing the left of most of the guests., Amarpal beside him.

Akshita took her drums, adjusting the mic between the drums and her so that both her voice and the drums could be captured. Anuraag took his harmonium out, to Ekansh's surprise, and placed it in front of him, setting his mic.

Amarpal took his tablas and set the mic near it. He took another mic, set it near his side, and placed the taal beside him. Ready for Rasika to join when she's done with the food preparations.

Soon, the speech ended, and the garden broke into applause as the Malhotra men took their seats. Each of the Rai Youngsters were mic testing their respective mics as Anumita and Jashith started preparing for the pooja.

[I have kept some bhajans for ya'll to enjoy. Please listen you'll definitely get the feels. I mean, if you're in a public place or something, then either go home and read this, or pull up your earphones!
If it's late at night, or early in the morning, then give up, read something else, or maybe sleep for once and read this tomorrow morning.
Even if you're chilling at home, try to read this with earphones. Please do. At least it's better for your parents to catch you listening to Bhajans instead of reading smut. 😏🌚🌚
But don't read this without listening to the videos, it's not fun like that.]

[ https://youtu.be/vh_ZYF9lETo?si=Rfazj1DA_oDK8lRL It's not the same as the one I've attached to the chapter.
Playing it while reading the story, I swear, every sanatani's heart will bloom.]

The Malhotra were shocked just as the other guests as Anuraag started with the classic aakaram in a melodious pitch, and started playing his harmonium. Anumita and Jashith were standing near the mandapa, still preparing for the Mahaarti, which confused the guests.

The moment Anuraag starts singing, his melodious voice erupts from the speakers in the back, sending goosebumps to everyone present. [Imagine the singer's voice as Anuraag's😌]

He plays the harmonium as Akshita and Amarpal start with their tabla and drums synching their beat with him as the guests start slowly clapping with the beats.

The aura is suddenly changed from the chattering to a synchronized, calm, and pure melody produced by the kids. Ekansh, unknowingly, is staring at Akshita. He cannot seem to take his eyes off her as she has her eyes closed, enjoying and playing with synchrony to Anuraag's voice and her brother's tablas.

Soon, Akshita too starts singing one of the paras in a higher pitch, which makes Ekansh's eyebrows raise to his hairlines, at her melodious voice.

It was not some Lata Mangeshkar-level voice, but the devotion was there, making all the difference. Amarpal, on the other hand, was playing his tablas with his eyes closed. His head shook with every beat, and the smile on his face never fell as he kept on playing, it seemed as if his hands were playing on their own.
