There was dead silence in our home.
After all my brother decided to drop a bomb that he will marry.
I grinned, somewhere I saw this coming because I heard him talk on call to someone to prepare something.
I guess he was talking about the proposal.
Dad cleared his throat.
"What do you mean?" Dad asked. I saw Anish bhai gulp.
"Iwanttomarryishita" he blabbered, clearly taken aback by dad's question.
"Sidhe sidhe bolo" dad said sternly.
(Say it clearly)
"I want to marry Ishita, as soon as possible" Anish bhai said clearly this time.
"And how will you treat her?" My dad asked.
"As a queen" Anish Bhai said immediately. Dad nodded his head.
I am proud of my brother.
"Rakh paayega usse khush?" Dad asked again.
(Can you keep her happy?)
"Yes,I'll give her everything and will try to be better for her" Anish Bhai said, I could see he was sincere. Dad nodded and thought for awhile.
"Dekh le meri beti ko khush rak payega na?" My mom asked.
(See whether you will really keep my daughter happy)
"Aree aapki beti ko khush rahega woh, don't worry" I said keeping my hand on her shoulder.
(Don't worry he will keep your daughter happy)
From my side view, I saw Raj looking at us confused. So I moved towards him.
"They are talking about Ishita di" I whispered into his ear.
"Ohh" he mumbled understanding the situation.
I held back my laugh as I saw them question Anish Bhai.
"Putar tu sure hai na?" Dadi asked.
"Ji dadi hundred percent sure hu" Anish bhai said.
"Okay leke aaja Ishita ko" my mom said.
"Aise thodi na hota hai, you are supposed to go to their house and ask her hand in marriage " Anish Bhai whined causing us to laugh.
And it was decided that Anish Bhai and Ishita di will get married next month.
We have plenty of time for shopping so it will be fine.

I was sitting on the sofa when I got a call from Inaya.
"Hello" I said.
"Hii Anvii" came her reply.
"Tell me, now what happened"
"Nothing, can't I call my bestfriend?"
