Lucian's POV:
I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing and I rushed to turn it off. Normally i would just ignore it and try to go back asleep but considering what happened yesterday I didn't wanna miss school today so I hurry and get in the shower.

I walked out my my bathroom and started to get ready, brushing my teeth and grabbing my bag. When I walked downstairs I saw my mom standing in the kitchen signing to my dad.
"Hey love, your up early?" I heard my mom say kissing me on the cheek then she examined my outfit "I assumed you were gonna stay home today." She looked at me curiously
"Well today I just feel like going." I said giving her a smile and walking up to the pantry to get myself a pop-tart she looked like she didn't believe me but she dropped it.
"Do you think you can catch a ride to school today honey? Me and your father have to be at work in like Twenty minutes." I heard my mom say as she checked her watch I nodded at her then took a bite out of my pop tart. My mom and my dad both have been working at the same company with each other for a couple years and they frequently have to take business trips so I'm kinda used to staying home alone.
"Yeah it's alright I'll see if Ayden can give me a ride." I said taking another bite out of my pop tart
"Okay love you be careful." She said giving me a hug followed by my dad and then they walked out, My dad wasn't that much of a talker but he listens very well or you can say he observes well. My dad was born deaf so even though he can talk he rather just stay quiet, the only time he really talks is when he talks to me because I haven't gotten the hang of knowing sign language yet, good thing he knows how to read lips because I don't think I'm gonna be getting better at signing anytime soon. After I heard the door close I went to go sit on the couch and text Ayden

While I was waiting for him to respond I heard a honk coming from outside I jumped up startled and rushed towards my front door and opened it to see my best friend smirking at me through his car window what the hell? He hasn't even checked my message yet.
"Are you just gonna stare at me or get in?" He said honking his horn again I locked my front door and walked up to his car dumbfounded I opened the passenger door and sat down pulling my seatbelt on, before I could say anything to him I felt him grab my face and crash his lips onto mine. I kissed him back melting into my seat after a couple of seconds he pulled back my face was all red from the sudden kiss I then turned to him.
"What was that for?" I asked still out of breath
"I don't know I just felt like it." He shrugged "you slept okay?" I nodded my head he then started the car and gave me his phone I hooked his phone up to the aux cord Leaning my head against the window humming the lyrics I then heard Ayden humming along with me
