"What do you mean ?" I sighed and turned to see if the boys were out of hearing range
"I don't even know why I said that because I know that he wouldn't"
"What did you say ?"
"I mean I know he's not like that and I trust him and-"
"Belle ! Calm down and tell me what happened" I looked her biting my teeth
"I accused him of cheating"
"In a game ?"
"On me"
"Oh" I sighed
"Yeah. He avoided talking about Mckennas prom and I guess Jason cheating scarred me in a way I hadn't noticed before and I just panicked and asked if something had happened at the prom" she nodded slowly processing what I just said "I think I might've also let the comments get to me, which I know is wrong but I guess I am a little paranoid and now I'm worried I ruined it and I can't ruin this Leah I really really can't loose Aryan"
"Listen, I think that it's completely understandable for you to act the way you did. Being cheated on would have an effect on anyone and your mind hit a fight or flight there, that's absolutely normal and now I would believe, knowing Aryan, that he also finds it understandable or did he indicate something different ?"
"No, he didn't. He hugged me and told me that it's okay"
"See"
"But shouldn't he be mad or bothered I mean, I feel like I'm taking advantage of Aryan being so kind and great to me. Jason kissed me and he comforted me, the pictures of that came out and he asked me if I'm okay, I accuse him of cheating and he tells me that it's okay"
"Did you notice anything while saying that ?" I frowned a little shaking my head no "none of those were your fault Belle" I bit my lip
"Yeah but still,..."
"You know what I see ? I see you recovering from something with the support of your boyfriend. He loves you and he cares for you and he wants to make sure you're alright. Isn't that what you do for him ? Imagine it the other way around, if he had an obsessive ex would you be mad at him ?" I thought about it for a second and shook my head "If his ex cheated on him and he accused you because he thought something was strange would you be mad at him ?" I shook my head again "See, this is a healthy relationship Belle and you're not used to this, all you've seen was a toxic relationship with an asshole." I nodded a little feeling a smile sneak in my face
"Should I feel bad about someone who's younger than me giving me relationship advice ?"
"You should maybe feel bad about someone who's single giving you relationship advice"
"I probably should" I laughed
"You probably should what ?" Walkers voice sounded from behind us
"Nothing, mind your own business" I responded, he placed a plate infront of him filled with like 5 pancakes, Aryan sat down in front of me also with pancakes on his plate, he then placed a bowl in front of me
"You know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day" it was a yoghurt granola bowl with different kinds of berries and a few little pieces of chocolate, the way I always made mine at home
I grinned and rolled my eyes playfully, I looked at Leah who was smiling and raising her brows in a saying see kind of way
"You know, I wanted to let you starve" Walker shrugged from where he sat "ouch no need to kick me Leah" we all laughed and finished our breakfast or brunch, whatever
"Alright so we have the entire day right ?"
"My plane leaves at 12 am, I think, so I'd have to be back at the hotel around 10pm latest" I explained, I already hated having to leave so soon, the girls were amazing and lovely really, but nothing compared to my original family
"Okay, that's basically the entire day so let's just go outside, see where the way leads us" Leah exclaimed
"Alright, let's meet down at the lobby in 10 ?" We all agreed and went upstairs, I changed into my shoes and kept the rest the way I left for breakfast, a pair of pants and a white t-shirt
I applied a little concealer, mascara and blush, grabbed my tote bag and went downstairs where I just sat on a chair and waited for the others
I scrolled through my insta a bit and reposted an insta story from Percy series of the four of us on the carpet
"Excuse me?" I turned to find the voice and saw a little boy, maybe around 10 looking a little nervous, he looked back at a woman who gestured for him to keep going "can I take a picture with you ?" I put my phone away and smiled
"Of course" I hugged him first before getting to the picture, keeping my arm around him and looking at his mother
"You have no idea how much this means to him, he's been obsessing over Percy Jackson since he learned to read and he's been bugging me about "Skylar" being here all morning. I hope this wasn't an inconvenience for you"
"Oh no, of course not, not at all. I love talking and taking pictures with people who actually recognise me. And he seems like a very sweet little guy"
"He is, he's also a little shy though"
"Oh don't worry, I get it. I was the same way not too long ago" I laughed a little
"Thank you for the picture, we can't wait for season 2"
"So you've been busy down here huh ?" Aryan sat down next to me with a smile
"Am I not always ?"
"You are. You're impressive" we shared quick kiss and waited for the other two to come downstairs
New York City is such a pretty city and we certainly enjoyed ourselves here. We walked around the city for hours, going into shops and cafes at some points
"Hey Belle ?" I looked at Aryan who was walking next to me, we had our hands intertwined, Walker and Leah walking a little infront us "we're alright, right ?" I smiled
"Yeah, we're great"
