“We’re going to disseminate the task,” sabi ni Ruquefort, editor-in-chief ng The Torch.

Even I’m not that good enough with sports, at least I can be better with writing. I can even write an article with a length of 4-6 paragraphs for a span of 15-20 minutes. I’m the associate editor of our school publication and became part of it for six years by the way.

“Ramirez and Sencio, kindly take note that two of you will cover the sociocultural competition,” ani babae habang nagsusulat sa white board.

“Do you have anything to suggest regarding the tasks of photojournalist? Especially for the first day. There will be a parade which is crucial to cover.” Sabi ni Ruquefort na nakatingin sa akin.

Humilig ako sa lamesang nasa unahan ko. “If they will take my suggestion,” sabay tingin ko sa mga photojournalists, “It’ll be good if to tap all the photojournalists. The pub will become the primary source of this event and I think this is a chance for gaining more views and supports for our official page.”

Iyon po ang day for search ng mr. and ms.”

Kasi big day rin gaya ng nasa first day,” pagbibigay suhestyon ni Pilar, ang third year nursing student at feature editor.

“Then, to the photojournalists, do you all agree?” Pagtatanong ni Ruquefort. Sabay-sabay namang tumango ang mga kausap niya.

Lihim akong napangiti sa pagsang-ayon nila. Most of us are aware of the position we hold in this organization. However, despite the age gap and seniority, we still listen to each other suggestions as long as it’s for the improvement of our capabilities.

“Kindly check this, Alconcel.”

“I already proofread the article before giving it to her. Bakit unedited ito?”

In our school policy, particularly in school publication, before the specific editors submit the article to the next in rank, they will give back the proofread articles to the assigned writers. Then, the assigned writers will copy it and submit the polished articles.
