Y/n POV
I sat in the back of DADA with Mattheo next to me. Mattheo holds my hand under the desk, mainly because he knows that I haven't been doing the best, mentally, the past few days. Things haven't been good in my mind. People keep saying things. Mainly about how I should disappear, how Mattheo doesn't really like me, I don't belong here in Hogwarts, and much more that I can't remember right now. I felt a tear slide down my cheek. Why am I like this?
Mattheo POV
As I held Y/n hand, with my other hand, I traced the old scars on her thigh. I know this comforts her so whenever I see her getting caught up in her own mind, I try my best to comfort her. She is my world and I would do anything for her.
Timeskip
Y/n POV
I was walking down the hallway on the way to the library when a couple of girls that I didn't know stood at the side of the hallway. They looked me up and down and then started laughing.
"Can you believe she's dating Matteo Riddle?" One of them said as I slowed down.
"I know right. Maybe it's a dare." Another one says. They all laugh at that.
"You know, it would be better if she wasn't here. Then Riddle would be ours." The first girl says.
Those words hit deep. Deeper than they even knew. A soft sob left my mouth as I turned and went back to my dorm.
Timeskip
I collapsed on my bed and cried my eyes out. I took my phone out (Pretend they have phones) and texted Theo.
Y/n: Rose
Mattheo: I'll be right there, love
I read the text with a small smile.
Timeskip
A few minutes later, the door opens, Mattheo walks in and closes the door. He walks over and lays beside me. He lays me on his chest and strokes my hair.
"Just remember, I love you. Until the end of time. I can assure you, nothing will change that. No matter what anyone says. My eyes start to get heavy as I listen to him talk and to his heartbeat.
"I love you too, Theo." I say softly before drifting off to sleep.
