In Need Of A Break

(short but wholesome) 

You sat on your couch staring at the TV when you heard a knock at your door.

You stumbled to the door and opened it to see Miguel, but this time he was in regular clothing and holding pizza boxes.

"This must be serious if you're using the front door and not in your suit." You said as he chuckled softly.

"I'm here as Miguel, not Spiderman." He said as you let him inside, you sat on the couch with him and grabbed some pizza.

"So, why the visit?" You asked as he ate with you.

"I'm asking this as a friend and not your boss but...are you okay? You've just been different lately, your work isn't as good, you're not completing as many missions." He said as you sighed and looked away.

"I'm fine, Miguel." You muttered as he continued to look at you.

"I thought you might say that... Y/N, how many times have we had the 'talk about your feelings' talk? You're the one who helped me talk about my feelings, let me help you now." He said as you sighed.

"Dammit, I hate when my own advice bites me in the ass." You said laughing softly making him smile.

He rested his hand on your knees as you sighed and looked down.

"It's just my mental health... I've just been down and I shouldn't. I'm a hero, Miguel. I should be...good." You whispered as he sat beside you, closer than usually.

"Y/N, were superheros not emotionless immortal beings created just to serve, okay? You've seen me have break downs, and countless other Spider people. I care about you...so much. You just have to talk to me, okay?" He said begore you slowly leant on his shoulder.

"Maybe I need a break..." You whispered begore Miguel wrapped his arm around you and let you cuddle into his side.

"I can definitely arrange that. But, still come and visit okay? You're the only one I like." He said making you chuckle softly.

"I promise I'll swing by."
