A Talented Anaomly

You sat against a wall, panting softly before a portal opened up in front of you. You screamed and ran down the alleyway before large hands grabbed you.

"Not so fast kid." A male voice said begore you stopped and glance behind you.

"Who...who are you?" You muttered, Miguel was shocked you weren't fighting back.

"Miguel O'Hara. I'm taking you back to the society, you're a threat to this universe." He said as you struggled a little.

"Do you work for her...?" You asked making him look at you in confusion.

"Who?" He said before he was thrown against the wall and you fell forward.

"I believe she was referring to me." A voice said as Miguel looked up to see Doctor Olivia Octavius.

He groaned and his mask formed around his face.

"I never get tired of beating your ass in every universe." He growled as you backed away.

"This doesn't concern you, Miguel. That girl there is very special and I'm the only one capable of...experimenting to see how powerful she is." She said as Miguel glanced at you and then back to Liv.

"Please, don't let her take me..." You begged as Miguel glared at Liv.

"Stay behind me, kid." He said as you rushed to get behind him.

The doctor swiped Miguel out of the way before one of her long arms grabbed you. You screamed and struggled as she made a run for it, Miguel was quick to run after her, scaling up a building.

You screamed as her mechanical arm tightened around you. Miguel tackled her to the ground causing you to go rolling off a building, you screamed and held onto the edge, your face pale with fear.

Miguel grabbed you up and put you behind him again as you panted.

You hated using your power, but you had no choice. You looked at Liv and narrowed your eyes, trying to force yourself into her mind before you screamed in pain and gripped your head, Miguel looked at you in shock.

"Nice try, sweetie. You really think I wouldn't make something to block you out?" She said gesturing to a small device on her head. You panted and held your head in pain.

"I would love to stick around and play fetch, Miguel. But, I've got work to do." She said with a smirk as her claw came towards you again, Miguel quickly grabbed you. He opened a portal up and jumped through, closing it as quick as he could. He held you tightly as you both rolled on the floor.

You opened your eyes to see you were on top of Miguel and one of Liv's mechanical arms was wrapped around you and severed.

You slowly stood up off Miguel and pried the claw off you.

Miguel groaned and stood up, his mask retracting again.

"So, I get information about an anomaly and I'm met with...whatever you are being chased by that damn psycho. Start talking." He demanded as you glanced at him in fear.

"I've always had...odd abilities. I've always had visions and prophecies of things. I got a job as an assistant at the lab where Liv worked. She found out about my abilities and wanted to see if she could enhance them and use them for herself. She found some tech that was left behind from another universe and used it in the experimentation. It enhanced my abilities and everything was a lot stronger and I could control minds, read thoughts... So, she used me to get information from her enemies. Until I ran away." You explained as he looked at you, deep in thought.

"That's one hell of a story you've got. But, it makes sense as to why you would be an anaomly. I just don't know who left tech behind. Probably Peter." He grumbled, rolling his eyes.

"So... What happens now? You're not gonna kill me, right?" You asked as he looked at you and sighed.

"Don't suppose you want to put those abilities to good use?" He asked as you shrugged a little.

"Well... If we can take Liv down in the process, I'm down." You said as he nodded and you saw a small smile form on his lips.

"Welcome to the spider society... Don't tell anyone you're not a spider person."
