Odin shook his body, causing lots of his feathers to scatter in the room. Amyeong caught one feather falling and looked closely at it.
'Hmm... No wonder why Garrith's phoenix is the strongest among the animals he controls...', he moved his gaze to Odin who is now stretching his bird body. 'There's actually a top 10 awakener hiding inside its body.'
"So you can also transform...", Kartein spoke, examining Odin from head to toe.
"Hah!", Odin snickered. "Of course, I can! It's the natural ability in our bloodline to transform and look like someone else."
'Natural ability?!', Kartein's eyes widened. 'Was that the reason why Aiza could easily transform herself?'
"How about you? How were you able to transform into an animal? Did my daughter teach you?"
"Nah...", Kartein said nonchalantly and transformed himself back on his cat form. "Kayden taught me."
"Kayden? Hmm...", Odin thought for a moment. His claws pointed below his beak before he snapped his fingers.
"Ah! The one with the rare electric ability?"
"Yeah...", Kartein nodded reluctantly.
Both he and Amyeong looked at him strangely. 'How could he not know Kayden when almost every awakener knows who he is?'
'Well...', Kartein frowned. 'He couldn't even recognize me when most of the awakeners knew who I am too...'
Unknown to him, Odin is terrible at recalling names, especially when he doesn't often see that person.
"Oh! Right! I remember... I gave him a portion of my force control back when he was a kid."
"What?!", Kartein exclaimed in shock.
"He was unconscious back then so of course he wouldn't know. I was intrigued when I saw sparks on his body and so I passed a portion of my force control on him."
"I see...", Kartein nodded. He furrowed his brows as he was in deep thought. 'So that is why Kayden could transform...'
"Oh! And did you know?", Odin spoke, catching Kartein's attention. "The animal body you could transform into is actually based on your personality."
"Really?", he looked at him with eyes piqued in interest.
"Mm-hmm.", Odin nodded proudly. "So if you could transform into a cat, that would mean you have a cat-like personality."
