Katsuki stared down at the grilled fish that was supposed to be his lunch, however, it was left untouched as the hand holding his chopsticks hovered over it, watching as the steam slowly faded, making his once warm meal become more room temperature at best.

While it was normal for the blond Alpha to be quiet and keep to himself while at the lunch table, this was a new display the others in his group weren't used to seeing.

"Why are you glaring at that fish so hard? Did it kill your family or something?" Ashido decided to speak up and joke since none of the others dared to bother Katsuki like she normally would.

"No. And if the fish did kill my family, I'd actually kill whoever cooked this fish." Katsuki sat back, crossing his arms.

"Right... I forgot you're weird and hate your parents for a reason you won't tell anyone... Wrong person to make that joke for..." She rolled her eyes.

"Is there a good reason you're bothering me or did you just decide that you wanted to be annoying for no reason?" Katsuki raised a brow.

Before Ashido could sass back at him, Kirishima placed a hand on her shoulder and nervously smiled at Katsuki, "W-We didn't mean to be a bother to you, bro! We know you like to enjoy your food in peace but... You haven't touched your lunch at all and you're totally spaced out! It's super out of character for you! We're just worried, that's all!"

"Tsk, it's none of your damn business so just leave me alone." Katsuki brushed it of and started to poke at his fish, but truthfully, he wasn't all that hungry. He found it hard to eat whenever he was troubled, which didn't happen very often for him.

The expressions he wears when he's confused and when he's pissed look nearly identical, so he didn't appreciate that his group was able to figure out something was off just based on small details. Then again, with how simple his routines were, one change would certainly throw things off. Either way, he couldn't tell them what was going on. No one could know about Izuku, so hopefully they would just take it as him being in a bad mood like he would be in from time to time.

"Is something wrong, Bakugo?" Kirishima asked.

"I already said no and to leave me alone. Can't you see I'm pissed off?" Katsuki spat back.

"Well, you do look pissed but your scent smells more like you're troubled and that something is bothering you... Even before we bugged you."

Right... I forgot about that. Stupid fucking scents. Giving away how I actually feel.

"I can't talk about it so just drop it." Katsuki didn't even look up to look Kirishima or anyone else in the eye, hoping the sourness of his scent was enough for everyone to know how serious the situation was. Besides, Katsuki was never one to talk about his problems in the first place. Then again, that's because he usually hid them better.

"If it's something serious, then I wanna know. Usually, nothing ever bothers you to this extent." Ashido grinned.

"Yeah, you're like a pretty stoic guy most of the time when you're not angry and yelling at us." Kaminari added in.

Katsuki thought about it. It would be nice to tell someone in his life about it. After all, Izuku did tell his friends who he promises won't go around saying anything. While he doesn't out right considers them 'friends', they are the only people he hangs around just because they don't leave him alone, plus most of them are scared of him to the point where he's sure they won't go behind his back. Oh, what the hell.
