After spending time with their parents, as Katsuki had predicted, Mitsuki would let them stay at her house for the time being.

It started to get late, leading Inko to say her goodbyes and head home, while Mitsuki and Masaru decided to stay in the living room longer.

That led Izuku and Katsuki to head upstairs with their things and decide which spare room they would stay in. Izuku knew the Bakugos were rich, but when Katsuki told him how big the house was, it was a lot more than he expected. Hell, the living room alone was as big as the apartment he and his mom lived in.

"We can just stay in my old bedroom. It's a bit farther down but at least we'll have privacy." Katsuki suggested.

"I don't mind! I never got to see your college dorm so it'd be interesting to see the room you grew up in!"

"Heh, what a weird thing to be excited about. Don't get high hopes though, I'm sure my parents undid all my decorations since I went to college."

Once they reached the end of the hall, Katsuki opened the door to his old room, surprised to see that not much had changed and the only things that were missing were the things he packed and brought with him.

"Yeah, sorry there's not like fifty All Might posters. I kept my nerd stuff to a minimum." Katsuki teased.

Katsuki's room was somewhat minimalist, the only things inside were his bed, closet, desk, and drawer. However, there were a few things that stood out to Izuku. Katsuki was right that he didn't collect as much as Izuku, but he still liked seeing Katsuki had a few figures displayed here and there, as well as a set of manga near his bed.

Katsuki started to unpack a few of his things, specifically the pillows and blanket for his bed. Not surprising to Izuku, both were black. Katsuki definitely had a favorite color.

As he made the bed, Izuku decided to go back to the question he inquired about earlier.

"So... Kacchan... Do you believe in fate?" He asked, seemingly a bit nervous.

Katsuki didn't understand why Izuku was still on about that, and while he didn't want to upset him, he wasn't the type to lie either.

"Do you want my honest opinion?" Katsuki looked over at him, which only made him more nervous, but he powered through.

"Yes." He nodded.

Katsuki rubbed the back of his neck, as while he wanted to be honest, he didn't want to be brutal, "Personally, no, I don't. Things like 'fated soulmates' or 'the red string' all that stuff, I just see it as a fairy tale. It's nice to think some divine intervention caused two people together but, I think things just happen because they happen. Sometimes, you meet the right person right away and sometimes it takes time and a lot of trial and error. That's just realistic."

Since it took Izuku a while to say anything back, Katsuki decided to face him head-on, "Well, what about you? What do you believe?"

Izuku looked back up at him and thought about his answer, "Well... I pretty much feel the same way that you do. I was just surprised to know that, you know, our moms are friends and they had us meet as babies, even though we didn't realize it at the time... It was almost like at some point, we were going to meet again."
