I could proudly say Dad was quite satisfied with Ravi's genuine words and the way he carried himself yesterday. His calm actions during their intensified conversation proved how determined he really is to win my family's trust. I was relieved because it seemed like that was the beginning of their good treatment towards him.

Comes Monday.

We arrived before dusk and stayed in our cozy Swiss chalet with three stories that we often live in because we only use it for family gatherings.

Buong magdamag kaming nag-usap ni Ravi through video call kagabi. I told Ravi that when we have time to escape from work, I will bring him here in Tagaytay.

I made sure to talk some sense into him dahil hindi na kailangang umabot siya sa gano'n.

If I marry Ravi in the future, one of my main goals is to control his expenditure patterns. All out kasi siya kung gumastos at parang wala lang sa kanya kung maglabas man siya ng milyon-milyong halaga sa isang araw.

"Sersi, we'll be leaving after 20 minutes! Make sure to finish taking a quick bath," Mom said outside my door. "Your dad decided to eat breakfast in Bag of Beans.

I yawned as I rubbed my eyes. "Got it! Maliligo na po ako."

I checked my phone first to see if there were any important messages.

From Doc Ravi:
I'm telling you as early as now to give you an idea if I'll be inactive for the whole day. (4:38 am)

@TheRaviApacible: Don't freak out. I want to make it official. That's why I posted our picture together on my IG account.

I immediately tapped on Ravi's profile and was surprised to see that he really posted our selfie on his wall. It's a photo of us when we were inside his car before we headed to the Chinese restaurant.

So, I'm not being irrational here when I slowly grasp the fact that I'm living the dream I longed for so many years.

"Enjoy your day there, Sersi. Keep your focus in Tagaytay, not in Manila. Kahit 'wag mo muna akong isipin. I will definitely miss you, but I swear I'll be fine waiting patiently for your return. If you have something to say, leave a message.
