⚊ chapter nine

To say the least, Park Solomon wasn't able to walk with me for so long before someone is giving him a call and he is apologising to me before quickly going back to the hotel in haste by himself.

I think by the time I went to the shore where the crashers had crowded in a giant tent, they had been bored of waiting. They were all doing different stuff as I pause for a minute to search for my boyfriend among them.

Minji, Ni-ki, Sunhee, Sunoo, Kiara, Yoon, Isa and Sunghoon were playing an uno card together, circled on the center of the tent with a huge picnit mat beneath them. Jake with Heeseung were preparing some food in the grilling space while Jay is cutting some veggie in his own table.

Jungwon seems to be the only one busy to tend on his own drink.

"You guys take your words seriously for this meeting", I spoke a bit loud for all of them to hear.

"We were going to be here until dark", Jay supplies for me, his hand gesturing for him to take a sit beside him.

Once I did, his head was nodding for me to take the bottle of water from the bag behind him and I open it before drinking and also waiting.

Waiting for the chaos to start in the lead of the craziest one.

"No one is going to drink tonight! Especially you, Nishimura!", Minji screamed at us.

Ni-ki can only toss his uno card in defeat, seemingly not in the mood to rile up his girlfriend.

Some of them groaned. Everyone knows that Minji is once onto something, we can't stop her, all of us, not even Ni-ki. It was kind of strange though, because I knew she is also drinking from time to time.

What change? Perhaps it is for the reason she wanted us to focus on the mission at hand.

"Let Eunjoo speak first", she stated and everyone agreed.

"Well, Jaehyuk is always busy looking at his phone while Chowon is not noticing it. He also warned me not to ruin their wedding. Chowon was also anxious for this thing"

"Isn't it a bit obvious as to why she was anxious?", Jungwon pointed out lazily.

I look up from my position lying against Jay's shoulder. We all were now huddled together in a circle, the food was ignored at the moment, not that Ni-ki and Sunoo were following my lover's spat for them to stop picking on the snacks.

They were now both munching, their cheeks chubby from having their mouth full.

Sunhee is being handed gummy candies by her boyfriend. She then silently handed each of us a pack and a smile grew on my face to see a minion candies on my hand.

"Anxious because she's already aware?", Jake muttered out from between Sunghoon and Yoon, "Or just because of the wedding?"

Sunoo sounded unsure when he raised his hand to speak, "Kiara did actually see something yesterday"

Isa then choice that time to widen her eyes at him, at us, "I also noticed something just this morning, at the restroom near our room"

Maybe because of all the voices starting to speak up at the same time, I began to get dizzy and their figures were blurry on my sight. This made me clutch on Jay's elbow to keep myself steady as I need to be alert at our conversation.

There was a slight possibility that Minji had a reason to ask us not to drink, my mind wasn't exactly sharp right now to guess what it was.

But I do have a feeling on what it is.
