The final goodbye (part:1)

Chapter Five

-"I'm ready" I said to Michael as I closed the door.

I had a backpack on my shoulder full of my supplies and other miscellaneous items that I thought they might seem useful in the near future.

-"Let's go then! My people are waiting for us on the otherside of the village,we will be transfered to the west of the country for a couple of days and then we will see, ok?"

Michael seemed decisive,he had thought all of our next movements while I was getting ready,such a good friend...

But we had no time for such thoughts.

"Yes" I answered immediately.

"But it seems that we have a small problem"

" And what's that? " I asked.

"I've been informed that the soldiers will stay here for a couple of hours to make sure that everybody left."

-"What's wrong with that?"

A fear was growing inside me, something serious was going to happen?

-"A friend of mine said to me that if the soldiers find someone wandering on the streets then,oh my friend, it is said that he will be arrested and sentenced to death"

I was really scared now.

All of the three of us looked each other directly into the eyes and before we realize it...

we were running.
