Chapter 24

Jungkook ran into the office room without knocking. He saw Taehyung and immediately jumped onto his lap.

Taehyung was engrossed in his work and didn't even hear the door open. When Jungkook jumped into his lap, Taehyung flinched, thinking it was Bam and was about to scold him. But upon seeing Jungkook he smiled. He closed his laptop and made Jungkook sit comfortably on his lap. Jungkook's back was close to Taehyung's face. Taehyung placed his hands near Jungkook's waist.

"Why is my Bun so happy today?" Taehyung asked sensing Jungkook's joy.

"Tae, I'm very happy today. You know today the queen asked me to call her mom and the king asked me to call him dad. Taehyung I'm so happy. Thank you so much this is all possible because of you." Jungkook said while playing with Taehyung's fingers.

"Really?"

Jungkook nodded. Taehyung smiled and hugged him tightly.

Bun, I trust my heart more than my eyes, please never let that trust break, Taehyung thought. Setting his thoughts aside, Taehyung said to Jungkook

"In this happiness, let me take you out for ice cream. Is that okay?"

Jungkook turned around, showed his bunny smile, and kissed Taehyung on the cheek.

And with that they both went out to get ice cream.

Kai entered his room and waited for the king to leave palace. He stayed in his room for two hours but the king did not go out. As time passed his anger grew uncontrollably. Unable to contain his frustration he headed to the queen's room himself.

He knocked on the door but no one gave him permission to enter. He angrily turned to leave and saw the queen in hallway.

"Oh! Aunty, you're here? I've been knocking at your door for a while."

"Mr. Kim is sleeping inside so maybe that's why-"

Kai interrupted the queen.

"Never mind that I need to talk to you urgently. Please come to my room." Kai said hurriedly.

"Is this about Jungkook?" The queen guessed noticing Kai's agitation.

"Good, good, you are understanding me well." Kai winked.

"Look Kai, if you try to do anything against Jungkook no one will be worse than me." The queen was very angry hearing Jungkook's name from Kai's disgusting mouth.

Kai raised an eyebrow and pointed at himself asking, "Are you threatening me?"

The queen sighed and was about to speak when Kai interrupted again.

"In.My.Room.Right.Now.Aunty" Kai's anger had reached its peak.

The queen sighed again and followed him to his room.

After reaching the room, Kai called for Aena. He didn't want to reveal the full plan to the queen because he knew that even with blackmail she wouldn't support him this time.

"Tell me, what is it?" The queen asked rudely.

"Nothing much Aunty, we just need to send Jungkook to the Moon Club." Kai said as if it was a simple matter.

The queen stood up angrily and shouted,

"Moon Club? MOON CLUB? Kai, have you fucking lost your mind? Do you know why people go there? They only go to satisfy their needs and you want to send Jungkook there, WHY?" The queen roared.

"Aunty Shhh!" Kai put his finger on his mouth.

"I promise nothing bad will happen to him" Kai reassured the queen.
