Quick note: I know that the pilot is not canon, but the show makes it seem like it at least partly is. So I'm making my own canon here.

----------------------

Angel held open the front door of the hotel while you carried his mini refrigerator. You were helping him move some of his stuff. Of course, Angel wanted to start with the heaviest things. Inside the lobby, Vaggie was sitting on the front desk, stamping an envelope. You called out, "Vaggie, are you sure you should be sitting there? I haven't renovated it yet."

Without looking up, she hummed, "It's fine."

"Well, maybe you could help me really quick?" She didn't move. Charlie sat beside her on a chair, furiously writing at the front desk. You looked over to the princess and sighed, "Charlie, are you writing another message to Six Six Six News?"

Her eye twitched as she folded the note and slammed it into the envelope. "Yes," she yelled with a forced smile. Her eyes were turning red, and her horns were creepy out of her head. "They still haven't replied to any of my calls or emails. But maybe they just got lost in all the other messages they must get because they're not respond to me." Her hand grabbed another piece of paper and started to write again. "And maybe they've missed the three letters I've been sending them everyday for the past," her grip on her pen tightened, "two weeks now."

"Maybe you should try a different-." A wet droplet slid down your hand. "Angel, why is this leaking?"

He sat down at one of the couches, crossing his legs. "Oh, yeah. I forgot to take my popsicles out of there."

You stared at him before putting the refrigerator down. "How could you forget that?" You toke a deep breath. Breathe, just breathe. You're used to looking after one kid. Now, there are just more. Walking up behind Charlie, you placed a hand on her shoulder. "I can try and handle this."

"Really?" Her eyes sparkled. She pulled you into a tight hug and smiled, " Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You're the best!"

She lets go of you, and you started to head out. "While I'm gone, maybe try to fix some things around here? I should hopefully be back in a few hours." You closed the front door.

Angel's eyes trailed over Charlie. She jumped up and started to head up to her room. Vaggie followed behind her while Charlie chirped, "I must get ready! I'm gonna write down some ideas on what to say."

He squinted his eyes. He realized that in the first two days he had been here, you were the reason this hotel had gotten this far. Charlie didn't do much to help you fix this place, and Vaggie would just follow whatever Charlie was doing. He watched countless times as Charlie wanted to do something, and you would have to finish it for her.

Maybe he did misjudge Charlie. She's not some evil mastermind or the idea of what you would think of the heir to the throne of hell. She's just a hyperactive kid who gets her parents to do everything for them. Except, unlike her birth parents, you couldn't tell her no.

You walked inside the Vee tower and over to the receptionist. The female demoness looked up at you. She moved down her glasses with widened eyes, "Hello (Y/n), what are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be stopping by tomorrow."
