Carmilla always thought you were a little different. You saved a complete strangers from death, even though you can't protect yourself. You spent hours learning how to fight not to grow your own power, but to be more helpful to your boss. Every time you came over, you would great her daughters with a smile and hug while also making sure she was doing alright. You were the kindest demon she had ever met down in this hell hole.

But it turns out you're not a demon. You're an angel. A fallen angel. How did you end up down here? Why are you down here? Who else knew? Her mind flooded with question, begging her to question you, but she shoved them aside. You were still hurt, and she had to make sure you were okay.

She unwrapped the bandages. A bloody line ran across your side that clearly needed more medical attention then just a wrap She threw the cloth away before pulling out some wipes to ensure the surrounding area was clean. As she pressed it to your skin, you jolted and gripped the desk harder. "I'm sorry. I know it stings, but it'll be over soon." She said, gently grabbing your hip with her free hand and pushing you against the desk to stop you from moving.

She pulled a sharp needle, as you take a quick inhale. She tried to work to work as fast as she could, but to properly stick it would take time. A quick question of how the needle punctured your skin entered her mind, but she pushed the thought away. She had to commend you on your fortitude. You barely moved throughout the process. She finished cleaning and placed a thick pad over your wound "Good job. I know that's not a pleasant feeling." She started to wrap a new bandage around you making sure it applied just enough pressure to make sure the sticks wouldn't break.

"You don't have to patronize me." You laughed, holding back grunts of pain.

"I'm not. You really did a good job. Thought, I'm left wondering why you can't just heal yourself. Don't angel have healing magic?" She asked while she noticed gold mark that spread across your skin from your back. Her fingers glided across your skin the giant gold scare on your back.

"I do have healing magic, but it only works on others. But I've never used it down here."

"How did this even happen?" She finished wrapping the bandages around your stomach, securing them in place.

"I was shot by a weapon made with angelic steel." Carmilla froze in place. Angelic steel. She's the only one who sells steel; she made extra sure of that.

"Oh, I'm so sorry."

"Hey, it's not your fault. You can't control what souls do with your products." You packed away the rest of the kit while she threw the needle away in the garbage.

She smiled. Your cheeriness was infectious. "Thought, I can't believe I didn't pick up that you were an angel sooner."

You tucked your shirt in and summoned a portal. You throw in your old jacket and out popped a new one. "What, am I that obvious?"

"No. It's just out of all the sinners down here; I should know the most about angels."

"Well, feel free to ask anything. Not like I got much to hide anymore."

Carmilla pondered for a moment. What to ask? She had a million questions. First, she wanted to learn more about you. But her mouth started working before her brain did. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" Realizing what slipped from her lips, a pink flush crossed her cheekbones. Why did she say that? "My apologies, you don't have to answer that."

You couldn't hold in your laughter. Your chuckle erupted as a small tear formed in your eye. Seeing her flushed was strange, but it was a friendly reminder that a part of her was still human. "It hurt a lot. I've never been in so much pain. My whole back burned up and was torn to shreds. My wings got cut up like hell; I was shedding for a week."
