Maddy's POV:

I walked around the bar, still thinking of Kate and what just happened in the bathroom. I knew I just lied to Carter, Kate kissing me was a big deal, and it wasn't just a kiss to me. My mind races as I kept replaying our kiss in our head. I wanted to find her and talk to her about what is going on between us. I looked around the bar, searching for the blonde.

I finally stumbled upon her in the corner, talking to another girl. The girl was all over her, and I could tell she wanted Kate, who wouldn't? Kate was entertaining her and I could tell she was flirting back with the girl.

I instantly became enraged. What was she doing to me? 20 minutes ago she was kissing me telling me I deserved better, now she's in the corner with someone else. I hated to say it but Carter was right, Kate was just playing with my emotions and I honestly think she enjoys it.

I turned around and headed back to find Jada. I was so upset with Kate I couldn't handle to be sober another minute.

"Jada let's get fucked up tonight", I said running up to her.

"Girl I was already planning on it", she laughed back.

Jada headed back to the bar and ordered a round of shots. We ordered a total 6 shots, assuming Caitlin, Hannah, Monika, and Gabbie would want one. However, no one did. Jada and I looked at each other and instantly started throwing them back. Three each wasn't enough for us, we wanted more.

We ordered another round and a drink, throwing back three more each then we started on our drinks. We took to the dance floor to dance the night away. Before I knew it I was stumbling around. The liquor hit me all at once. I knew I had to get out of there.

I held on to Jada as we headed to to the door. We both stumbled our way through the crowd. We eventually made our way out the front door giggling the whole way. We walked down the city sidewalks, our arms linked as we stumbled around, constantly laughing.

"Where do you two think your going?", a voice yelled.

"Keep walking", Jada whispered to me.

We heard footsteps getting closer and closer.

"You guys cannot walk home like this", the voice said again.

I turned around, against Jadas orders because the voice was familiar. As I turned my head around, I saw Kate, walking towards us.

"I'm walking you guys home to make sure you get back", she said.

"We're good", I quickly said back.

Jada started to giggle as she watched the exchange unfold.

"Well I'm not going anywhere let's go", Kate said as she motioned for us to keep walking.

"Kate just leave us alone", I groaned.

"Uh oh the lovers are fighting", Jada said with a giggle.

"Far from it Jads", I mumbled.

"Like what's going on? You guys together now orrr", Jada jokes.

Kate's head shot up as she looked over at Jada and I, she was stunned to hear what Jada had just spoken.

"She knows", I whispered to her.

"Don't worry Katey your secret is safe with me", Jada yelled.

"Maddy who did you tell", Kate said angrily.

I shrugged my shoulders as Jada started laughing hysterically. I looked back over at Kate, who was staring back at me with a straight face.

"Maddy who knows?", she said again.

"Just Carter, Hannah, Jada, and Sydney", I said.

"So basically everyone knows", she groaned.

"No it's just them", I reassured her.

"Well I told Caitlin, Gabbie and Monika", she explained.

"Welp then yeah everyone knows", I said back to her.

We finally made it back to the dorm building Jada and I lived in. Kate walked us up to our floor, as our rooms were next to each other. We waited as Jada got into her room safely then walked next door to mine. I fiddled with my keys as I opened my door, looking back at Kate.

"Come in we need to talk", I said to her, while reaching out and pulling her into the suite.

"You kissed me", I said to her.

"Yeah and?", she responded.

"Why?", I asked.

"I like you Maddy and you deserve better than that guy", she explained.

"Yeah deserve better than you", I snapped back.

"How?", she said defensively.

"Don't act like you like me one minute then the second I'm gone go start putting in work on another girl", I said to her.

"It wasn't like that Mads. I'm into you", she said stepping closer to me.

"Then maybe act like it Kate. I know tomorrow you will be the complete opposite", I said to her.

"No I won't", she said.

"Yeah you most certainly will. I think you like the game you play with me. Don't you?", I said.

"So what if I do? I know you like it too", she said, reaching out for my waist.

"Kate", I said quietly.

She leaned in and pressed a kiss on my lips. I found myself putting my hands around her neck as she continued kissing my lips softly and slowly.  Her hands traveled their way to my back as she lifted up my shirt slowly, her hands felt like fire on my skin.

She pulled away and flashed me a smirk as I continued to stand in the same spot. I watched her turn around and head for the door.

"See you tomorrow Cameron", she said before walking out the door.

I continued to stand there as I was in shock. I was now more confused than ever about where I stood with Kate. I wanted to be wanted by her. I didn't know if she liked me or liked the fact I was there to use and play around with.

I reached for my phone to tell Jada everything that had happened. I heard my door open and I looked up and Carter and Jada were walking in. They had looks on their faces that said it all.

"Why did miss Kate just leave this room", Jada said.

Carter folded her arms, giving me a look of annoyance, similar to the look my mom used to give me when I was in trouble.

"We just had to talk about tonight", I said.

"Well we didn't hear much talking", Carter said.

"You guys really listened! I hate you two", I said while laughing and walking into my room.

"Get it Maddy!", Jada yelled as she left our suite.
