despite what you might think of my behaviour sometimes,
you are my truth. and despite the in and out weaving of such,
you are my truth. and when the sun and the moon change
places, you stay my truth. when i see your worried eyes
and the frown of your mouth, head cocked down and
you stare at my chest, clearly weighing the serious words
that drop from your mouth like the balls in a casino
game, i listen and learn. and your patience knows
no bounds. you are more truth than most, even then.
