#44 - Own

Seokjin carefully untangled himself from Jimin's hold and tip toed his way out to the deck to avoid disturbing everyone's night slumber. Seokjin lean against the side wall with his knee locked in his arms as he admires the peacefulness of bright night skies. The sea breeze, the sound of soft waves, the skies full of stars along with his newfound friendship and there's Jeon Jungkook, the love of his life.

His vision became blurred as tears unknowingly kept pouring down. He hugged his knees tightly and ducked his head down on his knee. God. Please. He doesn't want these beautiful memories to end. He's not ready to part with this life. 

Seokjin slowly turns as he felt someone putting on a jacket on him. That bunny smile he came to love yet he couldn't make up words for it.

JK: I'm glad you took my advice and brought this puffy jacket.

Jin: ...

JK: Who's the one saying, it's freaking summer honeybee~ Why are you quiet huh? Cat got your tongue, babe?

Seokjin mustered a smile and rubbed off his eyes, but Jungkook held on his hand and put it aside. He then cupped Seokjin's face and gently wiped off the tears using his thumbs. Seokjin began to relax and leans in to the comforting touch. Minutes passed without any words, yet they knew what's on the other's mind even in silence. Jungkook leans in and pressed a gentle kiss, and pulls back to smile at Seokjin.

JK: Hi, I'm Jeon Jungkook, just recently turned twenty two a few hours ago and I have a boyfriend. Do you want to know what's his name is?

Seokjin tilt his head and broke into a smile.

JK: He has a few names actually.

Seokjin raised his eyebrows at the response.

JK: His official name is Kim Seokjin. In school people called him Jin. To his family members and closed friends, his name is Jinnie. When he hype himself up, he would call himself as Seokjinnie.

Seokjin didn't know that Jungkook knew how he likes to hype himself up with Seokjinnie. Was he loud all this time? 

JK: Shh- I'm not done. Fun fact, he is the owner of Flowery and... drum roll please!!! He also owns THE one and only Jeon Jungkook, the love of his life. He called me honeybee and FYI he's filthy rich. He booked me this expensive yacht for my birthday, can you believe it?

Seokjin burst into laughter and playfully punch Jungkook's chest in embarrassment. Jungkook pulled Seokjin to his lap and they cutely snuggled in each other's embrace.

Jin: The night is pretty. 

JK: Hmmm... everything is pretty, babe. Thank you.

Jin: What for?

JK: I know this is not a once off, but I'll remember this birthday event for a very long time, babe.

Jin: I thought you didn't like it?

JK: Gotta admit, they're not that bad. Plus, I've got your attention now didn't I?

Jin: You're always going to get my attention, honeybee~

JK: Is it cause, I'm the owner of your heart too?

Jin: Gosh! Where did you learn all these pick up lines?

JK: Literally from the people inside that you've invited, babe~

Jin: Tae?

JK: Trust me. All of them. Even your beloved besties. Gosh they really made me binge watch all kinds of shows, after our Busan trip! Did you know they called me anti-romantic? They're so mean.

Jin: I can totally imagine Jiminie~ But it's interesting how the rest are invested in us. Hehe. 

JK: Cause you're their beloved being, babe. Even Lisa can't stop mentioning how much she adores you when she only met you a few times. 

Jin: Kookie, trust me they love you too. This event was pretty much last minute, and all of them dropped everything to help decorate this event for you.

JK: Are you sure it's not because of your sparkling eyes and pouty lips, pleading them to ask for help? Cause that look works for me, babe. 

Jin: Pfft. Then what about my look now?

Jungkook paused and looked at Seokjin intently.

JK: This look right now, makes me want to comfort the little Seokjinnie. Telling him, not to worry about anything and letting him know to just enjoy the present.

Jin: You know me too well. It's scary.

JK: Trust me. The future going to be okay.

Jin: Thank you for loving me, honeybee...

JK: Can't help it, babe. You owned me, remember?

Jin: You're so-

JK: Charming, I know~

Jin: Couldn't agree more~

JK: Shall we go in, babe? I don't want you to catch cold.

Jin: Hmmm... five more minutes?

JK: Sure, boss. *winks*

The sun shines bright. Jungkook mumbled to let him sleep a bit more when someone tried to wake him up. He didn't even bother to open his eyes and instead continue to spoon Seokjin whose breath provides warmths to Jungkook's chest through the night and now daylight.

???: Sir? It's time for check-out.

The voice was nothing familiar. Jungkook slightly opened his eyes and was surprised to see a group of staffs with cleaning supplies standing at the entrance. Jungkook tapped Seokjin who was cutely retaliating. Jungkook sigh as it's unfortunate he can't tease Seokjin more, so he had no choice to aggressively tapped Seokjin. Seokjin sat up and angrily pouting still without realising what's going on. 

Jin: Can't you give me chance to sleep in for a while~

JK: I know you're angry, but I want you to look around babe. We need to leave asap.

Seokjin side-eyed and he instantaneously kneeled down to apologise for his action. He looked around for his belongings, and that's when he saw a note on the side table along. Seokjin picks up the note and was surprised to see a polaroid of them cuddling behind it.

Hey lovelies, you guys were too cute cuddling so we left first. Don't worry your belongings are safe with us. See you two around later and ride safely! 

The two left the area quickly after apologising profusely to the staffs. Now that they're at carpark, Jungkook looked at Seokjin with a questionable face.

JK: Babe, where's the rest?

Jin: Oh! They left us a note saying they left already.

Seokjin handed over the note to Jungkook. 

JK: Ride safely? Babe, how did all of you come here?

Jin: With my car. Well, you always bring your bike-

JK: Aish! They're so annoying!

Jin: What's wrong? 

Seokjin looked around the carpark and that's when he knew they fucked up.

JK: Don't worry babe, I've already booked a car for us.

Jin: We'll split the bill k?

JK: My treat babe. Let's wait at the entrance shall we?

Jin: Sorry we all thought you would-

JK: Nothing to sorry about. You know they're annoying, but at least they know how to give us a polaroid each. Look at this. We look adorable in this, don't you think so babe?

Jin: Honeybee, you're so whipped aren't you?

JK: I've told you babe, you owned me~
