The striker catches his breath and awakes in shock. Sweat drips down his face after reliving a nightmare.
[You're tuned into Futball360 news. Story of the day, Supa Strikas' ace goal scorer, Shakes, returns to training, after his rift—]
*Beep*
Shakes turns off the TV and turns his body to let his legs hang over the bed. He stares at the metal harness strapped to his left leg.
"Alright...I'm ready."

[Secret Training Compound...]
Shakes sits on a bench in the locker room as he takes off the harness. He gives a few taps and feels nothing wrong with his leg.
"Shakes/Hey, Shakes/Shakes, amigo!"
His whole teams comes in to welcome him.
"We're totally amped to have our star striker back, dude."
"But El Matador didn't go anywhere."
"..."
"Thanks guys. Can't wait to score some goals. It's been way too long."
"Uh, you do know," Cool-Joe implies, "who we're facing next, right?"
Things get awkward with the team after the last incident.
"Vell, you don't need to worry," Klaus states, "about getting injured again Shakes."
The blonde sub reaches down to pull up his right-leg sweatpants, revealing something strapped to his calf.
"Presenting ze ultimate in soccer safety equipment. An airbag for you shins. I need someone to kick me."
"Ooh, ooh/Kazurgal/Me, me, me!"
Klaus deadpans at how happy they all volunteer.
"I'll do it, Klaus."
Eagerly up to the task, El Matador gives the device a quick tap.
*POOF/AHH!*
In seconds, the bag inflates as big as human size.
"See? I am completely uninjured—ah...A-AAHHH!"
*THUMP!*
"Ouch..."
*Knock-Knock*
"C'mon, guys, time to train."
