Today is a great day. At least, for some people. You see, there's a lot riding on this important day. It wasn't like this last week.

>>>>>>>FLASHBACK>>>>>>>

[It was just another sunny afternoon.]

Tap—Tap

Kick!

[Shakes was teaching soccer to some neighborhood kids. It was going well for them.]

Tap—Tap

"Uh...er..."

FWIP!

"Woah!"

THUMP!

[For one little boy, not so much.]

"Grr~...I'm never ever gonna get that move right! I quit!"

[Like the kindhearted athlete he is, Shakes goes over to give him a pep talk.]

"Hey Ace...let me tell you story; One day I saw someone do an awesome move on TV, so I came out here, to the community center."

"Here?"

"Yeah. This is my home turn man. Anyway, I worked on that move every single day."

Shakes spins the ball on his finger.

"So, how long did it take you to get right," Ace asks.

"I haven't gotten it right yet."

"You...haven't got it right?"

"Yup~, but I'm still trying my man, one day."

"I can't believe I'm starting out at the same place as you, Shakes."

"Believe it."

[His little speech inspired Ace to do his best, like all beginners should. To Shakes, the community center was the place that started it all for him. He couldn't imagine a life without it. Which~ brings us to the downside of this story.]

Hours later, Shakes takes his leave by closing the gate. He sighs with a smile, waiting for the next time he'd come and visit this old place. However, just as he took three yards away from it, he hears a loud noise.

CLINK!

"Huh?"

Swiftly turning back, Shakes sees a man with a construction helmet putting chains on the gate. He quickly strides back.
