After finishing the game, we head to the locker room while high-fiving the plaque of our team's logo. Our coach was here to greet us.
"Good game, boys." He pats my shoulder.
"That was one heck of a goal, Shakes."
"Thanks, Coach."
"Rasta...great pass. And great leadership out there. Enjoy your time off. Try to find training in all aspects of life. A true champion adapts to all challenges, on and off the field. Not that you're gonna do anything...challenging. Have fun."
Coach leaves the room as we open our lockers.
"Here ya go."
Cool-Joe throws El Matador orange water-wings.
"Eh...what is this?"
"Water-wings, my man. You and Blok are going to the beach, right?"

I sigh while rolling my eyes. Kalina's been with us for only a day, but the guys have really warmed up to her.
"So, what's up," I ask.

"If you're cooking, anything's fine with me."
"Alright. I'll see you at home."
