"𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄, or is that just you?" Raya pretended to fan herself as Kayse walked out of the Slytherin common rooms.

Next to her, Thomas rolled his eyes, while Cierra snorted in laughter at the cheesy pick up line. Kayse himself only grinned stupidly, pulling Raya close by her waist and leaning in.

"It's nice to hear you think that I'm hot," he smiled.

"Of course I think you're hot," Raya told him matter-of-factly, one of her hands automatically reaching up to tangle into the ends of his hair. "Did me dating you not confirm that already?"

"Well, yes. But it's still nice to hear it," he shrugged.

Raya laughed, leaning in the rest of the way to press a sweet kiss to his lips. Like always, she melted against the feel of his lips on hers.

"Hi," he whispered as she pulled away.

"Hey."

A flash had them whipping their head to the source, barely surprised to see Cierra holding a Polaroid camera.

"Seriously?" Raya deadpanned. "How the hell do you even know how to use that, you Pureblood?"

"Elias taught me," Cierra grinned. "Also, yes I'm serious. We need documentation to show your children how adorable you two are. Or as I like to call them, my godchildren."

"I'm sorry, am I missing something?" Kayse looked between Raya and Cierra.

"I'm not pregnant," Raya promised. "Cierra just likes to get ahead of herself."

"I'd like to take this moment to remind everyone that I'm the reason Raya and Kayse even exist. If anything, I'd be the godparent," Thomas interjected. At everyone's blank stare, he continued. "Guys, really? I'm the one who forced her to find Kayse and explain because that guy is too nice for his own good. Like, okay a yes or no is a good enough answer. But you really should've let her explain."

"Maybe I should've," he agreed. "But it all worked out in the end. So I'm not complaining."

"Okay enough about our relationship," Raya took Kayse's hand in hers. "We have a Christmas party to get to. Come on."

Slughorn was hosting a Christmas party for before the holidays. It was supposed to be a fun way for students to meet each other, but in reality, he was just getting to know students with well contacts. If Raya was going to have to suffer through the party, she wanted to bring Kayse along. And Cierra only agreed to come as Thomas' plus one because there was supposed to be a vampire.

Raya was also glad for the excuse to wear a cute dress. 

"Are you sure you want to come along to the school?" Raya asked Kayse for the millionth time.

Tomorrow, they were set to go back on the Hogwarts Express for the holidays. But instead of heading to Grimmauld, Raya had been invited on an extraction mission for Camp. Thalia, Percy, Grover, and Annabeth needed someone who could drive. They didn't want to ask Percy's mom because she would have to wait for them and drive them back. Raya could join them on the mission, and then she could drive them back herself.

Kayse had insisted on joining her, excited to meet Percy. The younger boy was just as excited to meet Kayse, and those two had already planned on playing NBA2K after the mission. Kayse also got Christmas day Knicks tickets for their game against the Raptors, and he wanted to take Percy and Raya with him. Which was going to be something because Kayse and Percy were New York Knicks fans while Raya was a Toronto Raptors fan.
