The night lights fell onto the Iowa Hawkeye soccer fields, illuminating the players in their white and gold jerseys with black accents. From the crowds sitting on the bleachers, you could hear the soccer girls yelling, the ball leaving players feet, and the occasional cheer from the players when a good play happens. Kendall Martin was a stand out player, no doubt. Her dirty blonde hair and speed on the field couldn't go unnoticed.

The girls had just defeated Northern Iowa University, and the score was 6-0. It was a big night for the girls, as it was a charity night raising money for local food shelters. Families showed out, including the Martin family.

"Okay, girls, great win. There's nothing more to say," chuckled Coach Dave Dilanni. "So, you girls can go to your families. Locker room will be open for as long as you need. Say hi to your families for me!"

And with that the girls dispersed, Charlotte immediately finding Kendall after the small talk.

"Good job, Kenny," smiled Charlotte, walking with Kendall over to their parents. "Your whole family here?"

"Yep," smiled Kendall, looking at Charlotte. "Why?"

"Oh, I just noticed Caitlin is here too, and I wondered what you'll say to them if they've noticed or something," said Charlotte, making Kendall ponder for a second. She did notice Caitlin was here before she took on the field at the beginning of the game, which was not uncommon as she always was with Kate when their schedule allowed. It was a Sunday after all, and the basketball girls only had a morning condition today.

"You do bring up a good point," said Kendall, thinking for a second. "I think it'd be easier I if it was just us knowing. Plus, I don't think they'll notice anything. They know me and her are somewhat close because of Kate anyway."

The two neared their parents, who were standing in the other side of the field as the managers let families of the players in. The Martins and Caitlin immediately lit up at the sight of Kendall nearing them.

"Oh, Kenny," smiled Jill Martin, embracing her daughter into a hug, and Matt Martin doing the same. "You did so good!"

"Good goals, kid. Two is not too shabby in a six goal win," smiled Matt.

Trevor then stepped up, and picked up the short girl and spun her around.

"Trevor! Put me down!" laughed Kendall, as Trevor eventually let her down and pulled on her ponytail.

"Trev, someone of us need to say hello too!" said Kate, pulling Kendall into a tight squeeze.

"You see her everyday, Kate," scoffed Trevor, Ed ring a pinch on the arm from Kate.

"You guys are crazy," said Kendall before turning to Caitlin with a smile. Her arms were already open. Her black Iowa sweater and grey sweatpants was a dangerous combo to Kendall, the combo makes anyone immediately hot to her.
