The Saturday early morning sun was beaming through the the curtains of Caitlin's apartment. It was barely even 7am, yet Kendall stirred awake from her deep sleep. She felt well rested and serene. It was a comfortable sleep, and she realized why when she opened her eyes and sat up.
Caitlin Clark and Kendall were cuddling.
The two were now laid on their backs, Kendall not remembering when she fell asleep or when and how they got into this position. She didn't even remember when she and Caitlin took off their black Iowa crewnecks and threw them on the other side of the couch. Kendall didn't know what to think.
But she...liked it.
Kendall checked her Apple Watch, impressed how it hasn't died yet considering she had worn it since yesterday morning. It was 7:15 now, and she still needed to meet Charlotte for their 8am lift session they do on weekends. She needed to get back to her apartment.
Kendall looked to down at the girl sleeping close beside her as her arm was still slung over Kendall's waist. Kendall gently sat up even more, causing Caitlin's arm to fall a bit. This made Caitlin stir a bit, yet not opening her eyes.
"Mmm, don't move," mumbled Caitlin with grogginess laced all through her voice. She turned to dig her face into Kendall's side as she was still only sat up. "I was comfy."
Kendall chuckled softly, moving Caitlin's arm from her waist. The position very much not so fake dating of them. What happened behind closed doors is insane.
"I'll see you later at media day, Caitlin," said Kendall softly, as Caitlin curled into a ball now that she lost most of her source of warmth. Caitlin mumbled a 'see you Ken' in response and went back to sleep.
Kendall went to go grab her black sweater and threw it on, grabbing her keys that were left on Caitlin's counter. Her sweater smelt of a different fruity scent, but waved it off as she was with Caitlin in bed night and her scent rubbing off on Kendall. She looked once more at the girl curled up on the couch with a soft smile, and walked out to go to her apartment.

Kendall ran into the weight room, now changed into shorts and an athletic material Iowa women's soccer shirt. She hunched over and put her hands up on her head, out of breath from running over here from the apartment.
"Kenny!" laughed Charlotte, from the floor of the empty weight room stretching. "You good?"
Kendall finally got a hold of her breath, and sat down next to Charlotte starting to stretch along with her.
"Yeah, I just ran over here because I thought I was going to be late," said Kendall with a chuckle. "But made it in time. Best run, or more like sprint, of the month."
"You're usually up at 6am," laughed Charlotte, sensing something else underlying the rush of Kendall's morning. "Is there another actual reason why you were speeding this morning?"
Kendall cleared her throat and looked away from Charlotte as she was stretching now. Charlotte always knows something, and this is the one time Kendall didn't appreciate her advanced senses.
"Kenny! Did you finally hook up with Caitlin last night?" yelled Charlotte, covering her mouth in shock and her eyes wide. Kendall's eyes went wide as she turned to Charlotte.
"Char! No, not even!" gasped Kendall, making Charlotte send her a 'Come on, be real' glare. "I'm serious, we just fell asleep to watching Gilmore Girls, I'm pretty sure."
