FOUR MONTHS FORWARD
THE WNBA DRAFT

"You look absolutely perfect, Kenny," smiled Caitlin, as she finally sat down next to her girlfriend.

Kendall was wearing a satin white dress with a black blazer over it, courtesy of Prada. Caitlin wore a white satin skirt and blazer, with a bejeweled cropped tank top. Kendall was in awe, as Caitlin looked absolutely stunning for her night.

"Says you. Prada really outdid themselves with you," said Kendall, turning to Caitlin who smiled at her and placed a kiss on her lips. "How's Kate?"

Caitlin went over to go say hello to Kate before the Draft started. Kendall already said hello to her sister, and she wanted to give Caitlin and Kate their own moment.

"She's good," smiled Caitlin. "She kept congratulating me and all of that, but I told her congratulations. I can't believe she thinks she isn't getting drafted."

Kendall chuckled. One thing about the draft, was that Caitlin definitely had a little bit more power over the people running it. Of course, she was so nosy that she asked about Kate and if she will. Well, in the end Caitlin found out she will for sure be getting drafted.

"Ugh, I wish I could tell her," chuckled Kendall. "It's been a hard secret to keep."

"Kendall, honey, do you need any water or anything?" asked Anne from the seat next to Caitlin. Caitlin gave her mom a look.

"You're not going to ask me?" asked Caitlin in fake offense, making Kendall giggle. Anne just waved her off with a laugh.

"No, I'm good, Anne. Thank you, though," smiled Kendall.

"Looks like my mom loves you more than me," huffed Caitlin. "I don't blame her, though. It's so easy to love you."

Kendall blushed, and turned away for a second to hide it. But Caitlin laughed, and grabbed her chin and turned her face back towards her own.

"I love you, Cait," smiled Kendall, as Caitlin gave her one more look and placed a soft yet lingering kiss on her lips.

"I love you more."

"YESSS! IVE GOT A FEVER GIRL AND AN ACE!" yelled Kendall, as she embraced her sister and Caitlin backstage. "Oh my, I can't breathe."

Kendall was swiping away tears of excitement and pride for her two girls.

"Jeez, Kenny," laughed Kate, placing a kiss on her sisters hair. "You can take a breath now. Did you know all of this?"

Kendall nodded, still swiping away tears that ran down her face. Thank God for waterproof mascara.

"She did," laughed Caitlin, wrapping an arm around the crying girl. "I found out yesterday that you were for sure getting drafted. I cried on the spot."

Kate smiled and embraced Caitlin, cameras flashing even more now.

"I say this calls for our celebration!" clapped Kendall, grabbing both of her best friends hands and dragging them out the exits to the cars awaiting to take them to their party spot. "You're going to freak. The signs, bottles, and sparklers. Everyone is already over there by the way."

Kate and Caitlin laughed at Kendall, whose excited aura was radiating every step they took. They truly were lucky to have her in their life.
