You're Mine

Chapter 4

Scarlet and Stefan sign the paper together. " Let me tell you something about some rules if we both will live together ".

Scarlet raise her eyebrow speechless because of how arrogant his tone is.

" First of all, we both will sleep separately. We will not sleep together " he said confidently.

Scarlet felt instant relief because that's what she want. She didn't want to sleep on the same bed with him either. She felt disgusted to sleep with him because he had slept with her best friend.

" Second, you will need to work at my company so your salary you can pay me back. But no one should know about our relationship in the company. No one should know that we are married ".

Scarlet look at him in disbelief, " so it's like my salary is your money and your money will eventually come back to you? About our status don't worry. It's not like I want anyone to know about us either ".

Stefan nodded slightly. Scarlet couldn't help but to scoffs loudly, speechless by his words.

" Third, if I bring Anna over, you don't have any rights to stopped us because I will bring her over and she will sleep with me " he said in a proud tone.

Scarlet fell silence for a while, she was fine with the first and second condition but the third is harsh for her. She's worried that they both might planned to hurt her anytime.

Stefan noticed that Scarlet lost in her thoughts after he told her the third condition. He thought to himself that Scarlet must've still have feelings for him and got jealous that Anna will be the one who will get to sleep with him.

Stefan smirk proudly, " seems like you're disagree with the third condition. Are you mad that you can't sleep with me but Anna can? "

Scarlet glared, " I don't mind that at all but it seems like I don't even want to live with you because who knows what you both might do to me. It seems like you both might have bad intentions towards me ".

He scoffs speechlessly, " really? Not because you're jealous? ".

Scarlet sighed, " why would I? I've move on " she wake up from her seat and left the room.

Stefan still couldn't deny that Scarlet had move on. He's still insist that Scarlet react that way because she's jealous.

After Scarlet's dad already had his surgery, Scarlet was so busy taking care of her dad and her mom. She didn't bother to come home, Stefan even assume that Scarlet refused to stay at home because of Anna.

Stefan visited the hospital and saw Scarlet sit down beside her dad while holding his hand. He stand outside the door watching her talking to her dad who is still laying down, still unconscious after surgery.

Scarlet burst into tears, " dad, I will wait for you to recover then I will reveal the truth. For now, it's gonna be hard for me to tell you that I'm married to Stefan. We didn't had our wedding, we just sign the paper. I'm sorry dad I had to make this decision. I've already promised you that I won't ended up with him in the future but look at me now. I had to. I don't know how will I explain this to you in the future ".

Stefan overheard what she said. Stefan knew out of all people, Scarlet's dad and his own parents hated him the most when he cheated. Even his own parents despised his whole existence when he cheated. Stefan then sit outside the room waiting for Scarlet.

After few minutes, Scarlet walk out from the room while wipe off her tears. Scarlet startled by Stefan who sit outside the room.

Stefan look up at her, " why are you not at home? It's been 4 days. Do you hate the idea of Anna staying with us to the point you refused to stay at our house? ".

Scarlet let out a loud sighed, feeling frustrated but at the same time she felt like her energy drained. She lost the energy to argue with him, she look at him with dead eyes, emotionless expression on her face.

" You know I had to take care of my parents especially my dad who just had his surgery. Can you please stop, I need a rest ". Scarlet walk away from him but suddenly she fainted.

Stefan immediately catch her before she collapsed on the ground. Stefan then carry her asking help from the doctor to check on her.

After few minutes, the doctor approached Stefan. " She will be fine she will be awake after an hour. She's tired so she needs rest because her whole body is really weak. She didn't had a proper meal but she keep doing heavy work so that's why she fainted. I gave her an IV drip ".

Stefan nodded understood, " thank you doctor ".

Stefan sat beside Scarlet staring at her. He suddenly reminded of the past when Scarlet ever fainted in his arms before. He stayed by her side the whole day worrying about her and taking care of her.

" Why is everything that happens now reminded me of our past so much. It's like some moments repeat itself " he mumbled.

After an hour, Scarlet open her eyes slowly. Her vision was blurry, slowly her vision was clear. She look around confuse and saw Stefan sitting by her side.

Scarlet startled, " w-what am I doing here? "

" You fainted in my arms. The doctor told me you didn't had a proper meal and did a heavy work. That's why your whole body is weak " Stefan responded.

Scarlet sighed, " I need to go back to my dad. I think my mom is searching for me too " she said while trying to wake herself up but Stefan stopped her.

" Don't force yourself and just lie down. Sleep and rest while you have the chance. The doctor told me you need to rest " he nagged strictly.

Scarlet suddenly getting flashbacks from the past when Stefan also had nagged at her like this before.

" Anyway, I've moved some of your stuffs to my house. I asked help from your mom because I don't know what to bring for you. Luckily, I already did that because look at you. How will you move your stuffs if you don't even have the energy to do so "

Scarlet frowned, " what? Did you move my stuffs without my permission? ".

Stefan nodded slightly, " yeah why would I ask for your permission? I can do what I want to you already ".

Scarlet felt her heart burning in anger, " I thought we both set our boundaries. Why would you say that you can do what you want to me? It's not like we both will be a real husband and wife ".

Stefan approached her, their face was almost near. " Of course I can do what I want cause you owe me hundred thousand. So stop arguing with me because you should know that you don't have any power to refused me. You need to obey if you want to repay your debt ".

Scarlet couldn't helped but she was intimidated by how scary his voice and his expression is. She could feel that it's a warning and couldn't argue with him anymore.
