Chapter 15

Stefan at home, sitting at the living room waiting for Scarlet. When he heard the sound of the door open, he straight away stand up to confront Scarlet.

He walk to Scarlet furiously, seeing him, Scarlet felt nervous because she knew Stefan is not in a good mood because of Matthew who had provoked him.

" Where were you? At this time, shouldn't you go back home earlier?! " Stefan yelled at her so loud, Scarlet was more surprised because it's the first time he yelled at her this loud. Compare to how he yelled at her in the office, this was more surprising and new to her.

Stefan grabbed Scarlet's hair harshly, making Scarlet whine in pain. She held his hand trying to loosened his grip but he tightened his grip more. He drag her by her hair and bring her to the basement. He threw her inside the basement furiously.

" From now on, you will sleep here. I'm not gonna let you sleep comfortably in your bedroom. This is your room now ". Scarlet was terrified because of how scary and deep Stefan's voice is. She could sense the anger in his voice.

Scarlet gaze at Stefan with tear fillimg her eyes, " why are you doing this to me? What did I do to you? ".

Stefan kneel down and push her head with his finger, " what did you do? I don't like someone else help you with your work, because of that he embarrassed me infront of others at work. He did that because of you. You are being punished like this, is because of him ". Stefan tried to blame Matthew so bad because he thought that's the only way to make Scarlet avoid him.

Scarlet couldn't say anything, on the cold floor, she's just staring at him while crying. Stefan glared at her and walk away leaving her behind. After he left, Scarlet look around the room and saw some of her stuff were thrown inside the basement room. The room was messy because of her stuff and some other things that were used to keep in the basement.

Scarlet had to force herself up to clean the room even though her whole body felt weak.

Anna was in the room with Stefan. She noticed that Stefan looks like he's in a bad mood. So she approach him in a seductive way, hugging him from behind and rubbed his chest seductively. " You look mad, what happen baby? ".

Stefan sighed, " because of Scarlet, that guy embarrassed me in front of the people at the office ".

Anna stopped rubbing him, " that guy? Who's that guy? Why is it because of Scarlet that guy embarrassed you? ".

" He likes her, he keep helping her with the works that I assigned to her. He keep arguing with me that the works he did was correct and no mistakes because he's the one that help her ".

Anna was deep in thoughts for a moment, curious about the guy that he had mentioned. Anna had always curious about any men that approaches Scarlet. She can't stand it if the men likes her. The deep intentions she had, she wants to make every men to stop liking Scarlet. Anna didn't noticed how jealous Stefan is, all she care is about a man that likes Scarlet.

Anna suddenly had an idea, " why don't you make me work with you? You could assigned me to any position. It's unfair you get a job for Scarlet but not me. Don't you want to keep me by your side? ".

Stefan let out a loud sighed, " I will think about it. I need a rest. I'm so stressed out the whole day ".

Anna pouted and her hands starts seducing Stefan's body, " why don't I help with your stress? I thought you could fuck me if you're stress ".

Stefan didn't feel turn on but he knew Anna was actually more hornier than him. So he pretend to play along, he grab her hair roughly and attack her with a kiss.

On the other hand, Scarlet was still cleaning the mess in her room. The maids who passed by saw her and pitied her. They ended up help her meanwhile Stefan is not around because Stefan had warned them earlier to not help her but the maids felt bad so they ended up helping her.

Scarlet felt touched and burst into tears, her body couldn't take it and her knees ended up collapse on the floor. The maids went for a hug, they hug her tightly trying to comfort her. They let Scarlet crying in their arms.

The next morning, Scarlet was in the kitchen with her eyes still look swollen. Anna at the same time, walk down the stairs wearing her sexy lingerie as always. She noticed her eyes look swollen, she smirked proudly because she thought Scarlet must've crying because she and Stefan had a good time whole night.

" Does your new room feels nice? " Anna said sarcastically.

Scarlet ignored her, didn't bother to say anything. Anna felt annoyed and embarrassed because Scarlet ignored her, so she approaches Scarlet to confront her. She grabbed Scarlet's arm harshly, asking Scarlet to face her.

Anna heard a footsteps from upstairs, Anna then purposely fall on the floor. She starts to whine, " babe look, she just push me ".

Stefan arrived at the right timing, he glared at Scarlet. Scarlet was flustered because she didn't even lay a hand on Anna at all. " I-i didn't push you at all. I didn't even touch you " Scarlet tried to defend herself.

Anna immediately stand up to defend herself back, " you did. Don't deny it. You try to hurt me " she whine cutely to convince Stefan.

" I thought I've already given you a big punishment but it seems like you're asking for it again ". Stefan said in a threatened tone.

Scarlet trying to defend herself again, " no I swear I didn't. She purposely accuse me ".

Stefan couldn't take it anymore, he straight away grabbed her hair roughly and drag her. He threw her on the floor, " don't you ever try to hurt her again or else I'm gonna teach you a big lesson ". After he warned her, he walk away together with Anna. Anna turned her head with a proud smile trying to provoke Scarlet.

" You are such a bad actress. It's obvious she didn't push you " Stefan whisper.

Anna blink her eyes surprised and confused, " if you noticed that, why did you do that to her? ".

Stefan smirked, " because I wanted to play along too ". They both together smile and turned their head to glanced at Scarlet who was still on the floor crying.

The maids came to help her to get up, " it's okay, don't cry anymore. Your eyes are swollen, you need to go to work later ".

Scarlet who was already at work, she weakly walk to the rooftop. She wanted to calm herself down by being alone but she saw Matthew was sitting at the bench enjoying his coffee.

When Matthew saw her, he noticed how swollen her eyes is and the way she walk are weak. He immediately stand up and ran to her, he placed his hands on her arms, he look at her with a worried expression on his face, " are you okay? Did Stefan hurt you? ".

Scarlet couldn't say a word, her knees automatically collapsed on the floor and burst into tears. Matthew kneel down along, pull her into his arms to hug her. Matthew tried to make sure no one could hear her cry so he let her head rest on his chest letting her cry as much as she want.

He patted her back gently to comfort her, he knew Stefan is the reason why Scarlet is hurting right now. His eyes darkened and filled with anger, feeling furious that Stefan made her cry.

While Stefan, who was following Scarlet from behind witnessing the scene. He hid himself behind the trees at the garden, while watching them secretly.

Seeing as how Scarlet resting her head against Matthew's chest comfortably while he hug her, Stefan felt his whole body is burning with anger and jealousy inside him.
