Chapter 16 - The World of Ave Mujica

Location - Event Venue

I walked towards the entrance of the event venue where this new band, Ave Mujica, would be performing their debut. Soyo told me that I was invited to come because of Sakiko, and I wasn't sure at first, but I thought it couldn't hurt to check them out.

As I arrived at the venue, I found Soyo and the other girls waiting for me at the entrance. I walked towards them, and gave them my usual greeting.

"Hi everyone, I hope I didn't keep you waiting." I said to them.

"Yeah, you kind of did." Taki responded.

"Now now, Taki-chan, no need to give him that kind of response." Soyo said.

"But he could've gotten here sooner, though." She rolled her eyes.

"Well, regardless, we're all here now, so maybe it's time for us to head inside and take our seats." Anon suggested.

"Yeah, but... where's Rana-chan?" Tomori asked. "She was... standing right beside me a moment ago."

"I'm over here."

We all looked over, and there was Rana, already waiting for us inside.

"Huh?! How the hell did she enter the building without us knowing?"

I started to chuckle.

"I guess I can't blame her eagerness. We should get inside before the show starts." I said as the other girls agreed with me.

An hour later...

Location - Main Stage

The girls and I found our seats towards the front. I didn't expect Ave Mujica to have their debut show on a stage like this. It did give me flashbacks to when I first performed here, and I remembered how many people were happy that day.

"Hey, (Y/N), you've been on a stage like this before, right?" Anon asked.

"Yeah, I have." I replied.

"Really? Do you think you can hook us up so we can perform here someday?" She asked.

"Yeah. I can try." I replied before being shush by Taki.

"Quiet. The show is about to start."

Taki was right, the girls of Ave Mujica began to take the stage, and their costumes totally stand out from any other girl band I have seen before. I believe they go by their stage names as well.

There's Doloris who is the vocalist who plays the guitar.

There's Mortis, the lead guitarist.

Next there's Timoris, the bassist.

Then you got Amoris, the drummer.

And lastly, there's Oblivionis, the keyboardist who is also the leader of the group.

I heard from Soyo that Oblivionis is Sakiko, and that Mortis is Mutsumi. I wonder what kind of performance they'll give.

"Greetings, we are Ave Mujica." Doloris said, and before the song, Oblivionis spoke up.

"Allow us to show you guys what happens when you prioritize music over everything else!"

I don't know why, but I felt like that was a personal shot for me helping the MyGO!!!!! girls...

After the show...

The performance was amazing. It was unlike anything I have ever seen before, and I know that the audience was into. But I still felt like Oblivionis, or rather Sakiko, was still taking a shot at me about my priorities.

She has no right to call me out on that, and I wasn't the only one, I can see the rage from Soyo's eyes as well. After not saying anything for a moment, she looked towards us and says...

"Guys, it's time for us to practice hard, and show everyone that our music can be better than theirs."

"Soyo-chan..."

"She's right." Anon said. "If we put in the work, I know we can do a good job!"

"Just make sure you brush up on your guitar skills before then." Taki said.

"You bet I will! Rana-chan, do you think you'll be able to help me?"

"Roger that."

Soyo giggled at everyone's comments before looking towards me.

"And what are you going to do?"

"I'll perform as well, but..."

"But what?"

"I'll do it right here on this very stage."
