"You can't ignore me forever," I tease and glare at Ninny.

He doesn't even acknowledge me.

Of course, he's still being dramatic even though it happened nearly a week ago.

Ninny, Charlotte, Caroline, Jessie, and I are currently sitting in the library at the long table upstairs doing some research for the protest. We're each wearing our pajamas of varying colors, and occasionally yawning since it's midnight.

The best news is that Arthur wasn't here tonight. I don't know if that's because of what happened with us earlier, or if he just was too tired to come here tonight, but that's a good thing.

I'm still trying to process what the hell happened in that session anyway. Obviously, I got the confirmation that I spent months tossing and turning over, but somehow that doesn't make anything feel easier.

It honestly complicates our entire situation further. Especially when I'm trying not to think about who he is or what really happened.

But if all of that was true, and little aspects of his personality were true, why am I still so confused about everything? Instead of making it easier, it made it ten times worse because now I'm just asking myself.

Why?

Why would he hide everything else from me then? If he was walking around here being honest about everything else, why not that?

But at least I guess I got the confirmation that everything else was real? That's a little more progress than last time.

But was that even real? How could I know for sure?

"I can't stand reading," Caroline sighs, "This is a bunch of bullshit on a paper."

Charlotte laughs as she writes in the notebook, "You don't have to read on Caroline. We finished analyzing the 1700's book, and I've put in some new ideas that we can put in already."

I raise an eyebrow at her, "What did you add?"

She clears her throat and reads off the notebook, "We need to regulate trade with other countries, and make sure the prices of those imports aren't too expensive. We also need to see where we are on a global standpoint, and revitalize our military to reflect that. That's all I got."

I listen to her and smile, "Those are all really good ideas."

I don't know how we'd find all of those answers without asking the king directly, but they're definitely something we'd need to figure out soon.

Jessie nods, "We'd also need to make some type of treaty with these other countries so if our new ideas take effect, they won't try to attack us or something."

Why would they wanna attack us? Would we really be ruining the alliance we already have with these rulers?

Charlotte smiles and closes the notebook. She looks between Ninny and I, "Why aren't you two being as talkative? Not just to each other, but to everyone."

Am I really not talking as much?

Of course, my mind took over again, and I'm thinking about something that has nothing to do with this.

Ninny rolls his eyes and crosses his arms, "You're acting like you didn't lock me in the bathroom with Sophie."

Here we go again.

I turn to him, "But did it work?"

His nostrils flare at me, "Yes it worked, is that what you wanted to hear?"

I smile and nod.

Jessie mirrors my expression, "Yes, and we'd like you to stop being dramatic about it because it did more good than harm."
