"I don't see this meeting taking that long today," I announce to Charlotte, Jessie, and Annalise as I cross my legs on the couch. I push my purple dress over my knees, and put my hair on one side of my neck.

Jessie nods, "I think Annalise just needs to read over our plan right?" She places a hand on her green dress.

Yeah, unless she has any suggestions.

Annalise smiles at us and pushes her hair behind her ears, "Okay okay okay, give me the notebook."

Charlotte passes it to her, and they accidentally brush hands. Charlotte looks away while Annalise blushes a little.

I raise an eyebrow.

What the-

Jessie giggles a little, and smiles at me.

Annalise takes the notebook, and flips through a few pages. She reads it over for a few minutes and ends up nodding, "I agree. I'm not gonna try and do the numbers because like, no. But I agree."

Okay that's good, that means we don't have much to do.

"I did though read something about environmental stuff, and you're so lucky because that's my specialty. I love gardening and clean fresh air."

Charlotte looks at her and smiles, "Really? Like flowers and stuff?"

She nods, "Yeah, I was in charge of my father's farm at home. He had a whole garden full of them," she smiles in the distance, "We need a national garden here. Flowers make everything a lot more beautiful."

A national garden would probably be a good place where people can go to meet others.

I smile and look toward Charlotte, "Write that down."

She nods and writes it in the notebook.

Jessie laughs, "You know, Sophie actually loves to garden too. She'd never tell you, but that's what she did at home all the time. I have paintings of them."

Sophie gardening?

That's strange.

Charlotte laughs, "She's gonna kill you for that."

Jessie shrugs and bites her lip, "She'd never know if we didn't tell her."

Annalise giggles and puts a hand over her mouth, "So wait, you and Sophie are sisters?"

She nods.

"Charlotte and Catherine are too?"

"And Caroline," Charlotte adds.

Annalise scrunches her nose, "If I had to have a sister, I'd probably go insane. I don't know how you guys handle it."

"We don't," Jessie laughs, "All of our sisters are a pain in the ass. Charlotte and Catherine are the only ones who get along."

That's actually unbelievable. I never noticed that before.

Charlotte smiles, "I love my sister. Except for the fact that she brought me to a place with no pineapple."

I turn to her, "I was saving you. Pineapple is absolutely disgusting."

Annalise gasps, "Catherine, how can you say that? It's so sweet."

Charlotte nods and sneaks a glance at Annalise, "I agree! The best fruit. She just doesn't understand."

It's way too sweet. It's a crime that it's my favorite color too.

"So," Annalise blows hair out of her eyes, "What do you guys do for fun? I like gardening, but I also love to care for animals."

Jessie smiles, "I love painting."

Charlotte looks down, "Catherine and I ride horses."

Annalise looks at her, "Really? That's so cool. You need to teach me one day."

Didn't she have horses if she lived on a farm though? Why didn't she learn then?

I raise an eyebrow, "You didn't have horses on the farm?"

She nods,  "Oh we did, but my father didn't think girls should be riding them. Coming as the youngest of three brothers, they all had something to say."

Three brothers?

How has she not gone insane yet?

Charlotte laughs, "Three? Christopher and Charles are too much for me."

She shrugs, "It's why I have so much patience," she turns to me, "So wait, does the Prince know about all of this? This seems like something you'd be talking about with your future husband."

Future husband.

Why did we have to bring Arthur up in this?

Jessie bites her lip, "He knows, but he hasn't reported it yet."

Yet.

Charlotte huffs, "I don't think he'd ever do that. When I was talking to him, he seems like he has a good heart."

I'm gonna throw up if we keep talking about him and his heart.

Ninny and Sophie come in the door seconds later with grins on their faces.

Oh no.

What did they do?

My eyes fall to the metal chair by the door.

Ninny steps forward flashing the notebook at me, "Princess Cat, you won't believe what we did. We actually finished the entire thing today."

My jaw drops.

They finished?

Okay, I wasn't expecting that, but what?

They actually finished?

I smile at them, "That's amazing. I'm so proud of you."

Ninny turns to Sophie and raises his hand, "Come on, high five? I think we did pretty good."

She rolls her eyes but reluctantly places her hand on his. She lets her hand linger there for a second before pulling it away.

Ninny's throat bobs but he smiles, "We're a much better team than I thought we'd be. Well, when you're not being bitchy."

She rolls her eyes and looks at me, "Does this mean we can just relax until the voting session happens?"

I nod.

I should go check on the crime group. I need to see if they're almost done.

I get up from the couch and walk towards the door, "I'm gonna go check on the crime group."

I walk down the stairs then the hall to the library. Instead of at the table, Caroline, Walter, Alice, and Charlene are sitting on the floor at the front of the library.

They look up at me and sigh.

Do they think they're in trouble?

I shake my head, "How's it going here?"

Caroline laughs, "Well, Charlene is much better than them. We're actually getting somewhere."

Surprisingly, Walter doesn't say anything. Alice doesn't either, but that's normal.

Why is he being so quiet? He was never this quiet. He was like this at the other group meeting. Wouldn't he be the one to wanna question the new members.

I glare at her, "Caroline, apologize."

She rolls her eyes at me and sighs, "Fine, I'm sorry Walter and Alice.

I nod.

Well, two out of three groups done? That's incredible progress.

I smile to myself.

I think we might have a chance at getting this done right on time.
