I walk up the wooden stairs, and open the first door on the right. When I enter the bathroom, I flip the switch and the room lights up around me.

I walk past both the white ceramic bathtub and toilet, and walk over to the mirror above the sink. I put my hands on the edges of the sink, and just stare into the mirror.

It's so.... strange to see how much my face has changed since I was last in front of this mirror. Before I was very thin, and my eyes were lifeless. My face had absolutely no color, and my cheek bones were popping out.

But now, my cheeks are fuller and while I'm not perfectly thin, it doesn't really matter. My cheeks are stained pink, and the bags around my eyes have almost completely dissipated. My eyes are practically glowing, as well as my skin.

I force myself to smile, and study my full lips and my teeth. Even though I'm not wearing any of that makeup, I still look.... pretty.

I mean, I guess I always have. Mother's just engrained the idea that I wasn't inside of me for so long that I started to believe it.

But I actually don't look that bad.

I smile for real this time, and leave the bathroom. I walk down the hallway to my room.

When I open my door, Arty's standing on the other side of my bed taking things out of my sack. A few dresses line the bed as well as his gray shirt.

The rest of the room hasn't been touched. The drawers are all closed. The entrance to the balcony is kept shut by two yellow curtains. It's almost like no one's step foot in here in seven months.

That's a good thing though. I wouldn't want anyone snooping in my stuff.

I smile and put my hands on my hips, "What are you doing in here?"

He looks up at me with clenched brows as he grabs his shirt, "I did not think you actually kept this," he brings it to his nose and his lips clench, "Why does it smell so rancid?"

I blush as I step closer to the bed, "Maybe because I wore it for four months straight?"

He throws the shirt onto the floor and tilts his head at me, "Alright now that we are officially together, from now on ask me for a clean one. That is absolutely disgusting."

I shake my head and grab it from the floor. I throw it back onto the bed, "Excuse me for missing you."

His eyes soften but he shakes his head, "I am flattered, however, please do not do that ever again. You could have gotten a bacterial infection or something of the sorts."

I shake my head again and sigh.

He digs further into the bag, and pulls out the several letters from him, and he looks into the opened one. His eyes scan it for a few seconds, "This is the letter you allowed your entire family to read?"

In my defense, I never opened them so if it was anything bad, I had no idea.

I shrug, "I didn't know what was in it."

He sighs and shakes his head. He digs into the bag again and pulls out the crown. He holds it in his hands and his eyes widen, "You kept this?"

I look down.

This is even more embarrassing than before.

"Was I not supposed to?" I nervously chuckle.

He shakes his head and smiles, "I did not think you would keep it. It belonged to my mother, however," he leans over and carefully places it atop my head, "It fits you more."

I look down and shake my head.

If he keeps talking to me like this, I'm gonna misbehave.

I need to change the subject.
