"We can do the museum," Paul said to Emma as she was using an online program to design their invitations.

"I'd like that. It's one of my favorite places in Hatchetfield. Anyways, we'll make the reservation and I want you to meet someone else big in my life," Emma said, replying that yes they would love to use the museum as their venue. "Come on, get your shoes on. I'll drive."

Paul didn't know where they were going. Emma first drove to the grocery store. "Wait here it'll be less than five minutes," she said, leaving the car. True to her word, she arrived five minutes later with flowers. "Be gentle with them, Paul."

"Em, am I meeting Jane?" Paul asked. Emma nodded, with no words. Paul opened his mouth to continue before Emma cut him off.

"You're going to be respectful to her. She's my sister and I love her more than anything in this world. She means so much to me and it hurts me, knowing that she won't be at my wedding. I barely made it to hers," Emma said, "Just let me lead."

The engine switched off and Emma took the flowers. "Come on, let's go," Emma said, leading Paul to a tombstone. It read Jane Perkins-Houston. Changed the life of everyone she talked to.

Emma carefully set the flowers by the tombstone and switched out others that were wilted. "Hi, Janey. It's me, Emma. Tom and I already told you about my engagement, but I wanted you to meet him. Before that, we're going to sit. I know you want to know everything. Jane, this is my fiancé Paul. Paul, this is my sister Jane," Emma said as she sat, Paul next to her.

"Hi, Jane," Paul said.

"He treats me well. Paul, tell her about CCRP and what you do there. Tell her about how you proposed to me. Tell her what you told me," Emma said.

"Jane, I work at CCRP Technical. I'm one of the co-department heads there, so I oversee everything. For Em's proposal I mostly talked about coffee. I met her before Nora ruined her life. It's a big part of our relationship so I asked if she would want to continue making me coffee for the rest of our lives. We're getting married in a month," Paul said, "We're going to come right after the ceremony and before the reception. You'll know all about it and there will be a seat for you."

"Yeah," Emma said, her voice breaking. "I'll be back before then and tell you about my dress and show you pictures. I wanted you to meet Paul. I love you."

Paul was a few feet away when Emma met up with him and took his hand. They were silent until they got into the car and it had been running for a minute. "Thanks, Em," Paul said as Emma fiddled with the withered flowers.

"It was about time. But, what did you mean by a seat for her?" Emma asked.

"I thought I discussed this with you, but maybe it was with Bill. I wanted to save her a seat. Like a reversed seat, but her spirit is there, still attending one of the biggest days of your life," Paul said.

"Paul, that's so sweet. And we're stopping to visit her before the reception, right?" Emma asked.

"Of course. I follow through on my word," Paul responded, starting on the way back home.

When they got home, there was more planning to be done for the wedding. They had to figure out a bridal party, honeymoon destination, food, and more. Luckily, Alice was able to come for the weekends and help with the planning.

"We're back!" Emma sang one day about two weeks before the wedding.

"How was it?" Paul asked, trying to peek at the garment bag Emma had.

"It was fun! Already showed it to Jane. But you, sir, aren't going to get to look at it for two weeks or so," Emma said.

"You're going to love it, Uncle Paul," Alice said.
