"𝓘𝒕'𝐬 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒌, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝐬𝒉𝒆 𝐬𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝐬𝒏'𝒕 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 " Sienna said, her voice laced with concern as she gazed out the window. "Maybe the kangaroo decided to have her for dinner," Ena quipped playfully.
Anasia, feeling irritated, retorted, "Can we cut out the silly jokes already?" "Stop sulking over everything , Anasia. She'll be back any minute," Ena replied. "And since when do kangaroos started to eat humans?" Sienna added. "Alright, maybe the kangaroo and Iris are having a kitty party," Ena said, laughing. Alira joined in, asking, "What if she got lost on her way?" "Why don't we just call her?" Ena suggested. "Good idea! Call her right away!" Siennna urged. Anasia began to dial.... At the same moment, a knock echoed through the house!
"Looks like she's here!" Sienna shouted, rushing to the door. "Hold on, let me sneak up and scare her!" Alira chimed in, excitement bubbling over.
With playful grins, everyone agreed to the plan.
Sienna carefully unlocked the door and pulled it inward, hiding behind it.
"ẞ𝛐𝛐!!" yelled Alira, leaping out with her hair wildly tousled on her face.
But then, she froze and fell to the floor, genuinely startled as she recognized an unexpected visitor.
"Aaaaahh!!!!" Mrs. Singh got scared and screamed with fear. She flinched and took her some steps back.
After a moment of processing, she exclaimed, "I came to see if you all were okay, but what on earth is happening here!?"
The group had expected Iris's arrival, but seeing her aunt made their smiles vanish, leaving them all feeling embarrassed. Sienna remained hidden; her face flushed with embarrassment. "I'm so, so sorry!" Alira stammered, getting to her feet and fixing her hair. "I thought it was Iris," she added, her gaze fixed on the floor.
"It's alright!" Mrs. Singh replied as she stepped into the room.
Moments later, Sienna, still concealed behind the door, emerged, only to find Mrs. Singh right in front of her. At first Sienna hesitated but then gently tapped her shoulder to ask her to move aside, but the unexpected touch startled Mrs. Singh, causing her to jump and scream once more.
"Aaahh!" she gasped, turning around.
The group, already feeling awkward, flinched at her sudden outburst and turned to look at Mrs. Singh in surprise.
Mrs. Singh faced Sienna, who stood there wide-eyed and innocent, her expression pleading.
With a sigh, Mrs. Singh shot Sienna a look of disbelief before turning away again. The others quickly averted their eyes to the floor again, feeling the tension in the air. It was only their second encounter with Iris's aunt, and the chaos they had created in her absence made the situation all the more uncomfortable.
