"What now!?" Alira exclaimed, her voice laced with anxiety.

"What do you mean? He's just a friend! Why is everyone so worked up? Ena, grab your flashlight, and let's go downstairs to invite him in," Sienna suggested.

Though they all agreed, a palpable fear hung in the air as they made their way to the second floor, they straight away closed the laptop and lighted two candles-one held by Alira and the other by Ena.

Though it was evening, the soft glow of twilight struggled to slip into the house, overshadowed by the bustling surroundings of the crowded neighborhood.

While Iris, Ena, and Anasia searched for more candles, Alira and Sienna approached the door.

Sienna opened the door to find three sharply dressed, attractive guys, but as soon as they saw her, they recoiled in fear.
Ashvin let out a startled scream, Ivar flinched and clutched Ian's jacket, while Ian took a step back, equally startled.

Confused by their reaction, Sienna turned back only to see Alira holding a candle close to her face, casting an eerie glow that made her look ghostly. This sight startled Sienna, who jumped and screamed in fear, and nearly lost her balance.

In her flailing, she accidentally knocked a flower pot off a nearby shelf, sending it tumbling toward her. Just as it seemed she would be hit, she covered her face under her arms in fear, Ivar swooped in and caught the pot just in time, saving her from a nasty surprise.

Alira then realized that the fear in everyone's eyes was due to the way she held the candle near her face.
Quickly, she placed the candle on the floor and rushed to help Sienna, who was still on the ground.

"I'm really sorry, everyone!" Alira exclaimed, explaining to the boys about the power outage.

"It's alright!" Ian replied with a gentle smile.
