The room was quiet, almost too quiet, as you sat in your car outside Felix's sprawling mansion. It was late, the darkness of the night covering your presence, though you were certain Felix knew you were here. He always seemed to know everything, as if he could see right through you, could anticipate your every move.

You'd been on Felix's trail for years. A criminal mastermind, a devil in angel's clothing. Everyone adored him-his baby face, his soft demeanor, the charming way he could win over anyone with a single smile. To the public, he was perfect, untouchable. But you knew better. You had seen the reports, the hidden files, the cases that never made it to court. Drug trafficking, con games, even murder-Felix was behind it all. But every time you came close to bringing him in, he slipped through your fingers like sand.

And here you were again. Another attempt. Another moment you'd find yourself face to face with the man who had tormented you for so long. This time was different, though. You had a plan-a plan that you were sure would bring him down once and for all. He wasn't getting away this time. You wouldn't let him.

With a deep breath, you got out of the car and made your way up to the front door. You were still in uniform, your badge gleaming under the dim porch light. You knocked twice, sharp and commanding, your pulse quickening as you waited.

It didn't take long for the door to open, and there he was, standing in the doorway with that infuriatingly soft smile on his face. His blond hair was a little disheveled, as if he hadn't expected company this late, but his eyes were sharp, gleaming with the knowledge that you had come to him once again.

"Officer," Felix greeted, his voice smooth as silk. "What a pleasant surprise. Come to visit me again? Or is this another one of your attempts to bring me in?" He leaned against the doorframe, crossing his arms over his chest as he gave you a once-over, his eyes lingering on the curve of your hips.

You clenched your jaw, ignoring the way your body reacted to his presence. This was business. You wouldn't let him get under your skin this time.

"We need to talk," you said, your voice firm and professional, though the look in Felix's eyes told you he wasn't taking you seriously at all. "Alone."

Felix raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "Alone, huh? Well, who am I to say no to a lady in uniform?" He glanced over his shoulder and gestured for his guards to leave. "Give us some privacy, boys."

As the guards disappeared into the shadows of the mansion, Felix stepped aside, motioning for you to enter. You hesitated for a moment before stepping inside, the door closing behind you with a soft click. The mansion was as lavish as ever-elegant furniture, expensive artwork, the kind of luxury that came with dirty money. But it was quiet now, the usual hum of activity replaced by a heavy, almost oppressive silence.

Felix walked ahead of you, leading you into a sitting room with large, floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked the city below. He sank into one of the leather chairs, his eyes never leaving yours as you remained standing, your arms crossed over your chest.

"So," Felix said, leaning back in the chair with an air of casual confidence that made your blood boil. "What's on your mind, Officer?"

You took a deep breath, trying to steady your nerves. "I know what you've done, Felix. All of it."

Felix chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Oh, do you now?"

You nodded, stepping closer, your heart pounding in your chest. "The drug trafficking. The con games. The murders. I know you're behind it all."
