Chapter 25: Ritual

"It's a trap?"

Sa halip na magkagulo dahil dalawa ang daanan papunta sa curse, mas naging tahimik kami. I looked at Draven to know his reaction, but to my surprise, he was already looking at me. He raised his eyebrows at me. "What?" he asked through our mind.

I also raised my left eyebrow. "Tell them to create three groups. The two groups will enter different ways. They will come back immediately if they find out what is inside. When they return, all of us will decide which way we will enter. The other group will stay here to wait for the others to come back. Do you understand?"

He rolled his eyes. "Tsk."

Since we were all silent, it was easy for Draven to get their attention when he coughed. All eyes were on him when he did that. He looked at me; his eyes were helpless as he discussed what I told him. He looked away.

I smiled secretly.

We nodded at her as we started walking into the separate passages. As soon as we stepped in, we stopped for a while to observe the right way since Astro's group took the left path. It seems like if someone suddenly enters this, he/she will eventually die.

"Woah! It's a perfect place for practicing your agility," Draven exclaimed. He was about to walk closer to the hindrance, which is the knives, when he suddenly stopped. We also stopped in our tracks.

"There's a serpent with three heads here," Erika's voice filled my head.
