If there's one question that "Five Nights At Freddy's" fans want answered, it's knowing the identity of the Purple Guy that appears in "Five Nights At Freddy's 3" and the earlier death mini-games. Scott Cawthon's new release definitely provided some background on the identity of this mysterious killer, but it didn't specifically tell fans who he is. As one can see by watching the "bad" ending of "Five Nights At Freddy's 3, " he clearly got trapped in the Spring Bonnie animatronic suit to become Springtrap. His human name, however, remains a mystery.
While most Freddy Fazbear fans will agree that the current state of the lore nearly rules out the Purple Guy and the Phone Guy being the same person, even that's not a certainty. In fact, there's still theorizing on Reddit to suggest as much. One thing we were able to see is that, right before being stuffed into the Spring Bonnie suit, the Purple Guy was absolutely terrified.
