I stand there a minute wondering what I could do to heal my back. I couldn't pull my powers forward and there was no way I was going to ask these demons to help me out. I was already on edge from the fact that he wanted to make some deal with me.
As I step over to the bath and slip in, I wonder what would happen if I turned his deal down.
Would he find a way to pressure me into taking it? Would I even be able to kill Andromalius if I didn't take the deal?
"No, I can't do it yet. I'm still too fucking weak." I tell myself before letting my body sink deeper into the water. I stopped once the water was above my nose.
Even after all these months of training, I doubted I could take Andromalius down.
What was all that hard work for? What were all the months of training alone and keeping my distance from the others for?
I close my eyes and let air from my nose, causing bubbles to break the calm surface of the bath.
No, I could and would do it. Even if I died as well, Andromalius would die by my hands.

After I was clean I sat in the bed thinking over everything once more, wishing I had one of the members to talk to. I felt so guilty for keeping my plan from them, but it was for the best. At least before, I did have Rerek to talk to when I had no one else. But now, I had no one.
I couldn't tell the members about anything that was happening here, I would have to make a good lie.
"I'm a horrible person..." I let out a heavy sigh as I place my face in my hands and dig the heels of my palms into my eyes. "I have to lie to Yeonjun's face... my soulmate. I have to lie to the only family I have left, just to keep them all safe." That was the only console I had about all of this, that it was all to keep them safe.
A knock on the door broke me out of my pity party.
"Yes," I call out as I sit upright and fix my hair that had fallen into my face.
"Lord Asmodeus, wanted to know if you're ready to talk a bit more?" Tiswan said from the other side of the closed door.
I roll my eyes and push myself up off the bed, wanting to go ahead and get this over with. Anger still boiled up when I thought of the demon on the other side of the door. I would definitely be holding a grudge against her for a while and I would take any chance to punch her in the face.
I say nothing when I open the door, all I do is narrow my eyes a bit and follow after her when she turns to lead the way.
We ended up back in the throne room, but this time there was a small dark wooden table in the center of the room. Four matching chairs sat around the table that was completely empty save for a single red rose that sat in a clear cylinder vase in the center.
"I hope your bath went well," Asmodeus said as he stood up from his spot at the table. His chair was facing the door where we had just entered.
I don't say anything as I take the seat across from him. Tiswan greets her father as she takes the seat to his right.
With a snap of his fingers, food was on the table. Some type of small bird sat glazed next to a steak fresh steamed veggies, a roll, a bit of fruit, and a glass of dark red wine.
"Who else is joining us?" I ask as I take notice that there is a plate in front of the empty chair.
"Just a special guest." That is all Asmodeus said before he put a bit of strawberry in his mouth. "Us demons may not need human food to live but, I have always loved the way certain mortal foods taste."
I don't reply and just focus on getting a bit of food in my stomach that was aching.
After a few moments of nothing but cutlery clicking, the demon prince finally leaned back and caught my gaze.
"This deal I want to make. Have you had any thoughts on it?"
"Other than thinking how all demons are lying slippery snakes and that I should not trust you? No."
I turn my head and raise a brow when I hear a bang on the table.
"Watch how you talk to my father."
"No," I reply simply before picking up a bit of potato and eating it calmly.
"You bit-"
Asmodeus held his hand up, stopping his daughter mid-sentence. "Leave her be. If you can't control your temper, then you can leave."
I didn't even try to hide the smirk that pulled at the corner of my lips as she sat down with a huff.
"Though, what if I deny your deal?" I ask as I stare the demon down.
Asmodeus slowly set his fork down and brought his eyes up to meet my hard gaze. "Honestly, I have a few ways to make sure you take my deal but, I would rather this be a mutual agreement."
"I knew there was something more going on here. What could you do to make sure I take the deal?" I question as I set my own fork down and sit up straight.
"Let's wait for those options. Right now, I want to go over the terms and what all I would be offering to you, just for you to make sure you end Andromalius."
"What all do you have to offer?" I go ahead and ask, might as well see what he could be offering.
A part of me was begging me to just deny it all and not even try and see where this could go but, the bigger part of me wanted that backstabbing demon's blood on my hands right now.
"I have a knife that would guarantee Andromalius died. I was also going to offer something a little more far-fetched but, may help you end this all quickly."
"And what is that?" What could make this deal even more far-fetched then it already was?
"I give you a bit of my blood laced with some of my powers...?" Asmodeus said with a raised brow.
I reel back as his words hit me. "Why the hell would you do that? Wouldn't that give satan a loophole to pin you to Andromalius' death?"
"No, I've looked into it. I can easily give you my blood laced with some power and no one can do anything against me with something you do with that power. You have your own mind and free will."
"You act as if he doesn't know what we're talking about right now."
"He doesn't, he doesn't care what we do as long as we follow his orders and rules and I am."
